...must be a full moon weekend!
We tried three other eating establishments before going to this Starbucks. The previous 3 were seriously struggling to function, so I thought : "Starbucks should be good."
It was not nearly as busy as the other establishments --- but the staff here was struggling in their own right.
I ordered the Gouda, Bacon and Egg, a croissant, a tall Verona and a cup of water.
The breakfast items came right out, but the beverages were a different story.
After having to ask where my coffee was since the people who were behind me received their order and bolted --- the Verona I received was tepid at best, so I had to request another --- and wait for it to be brewed. I didn't mind the wait --- just giving context.
I never did receive the water I requested --- even after a second request.
Was this chaos completely the staffs fault?!
Yes and no. An order this simple should not throw the universe into chaos.
...but I will say that I am constantly amazed at the audacity of the American consumer. This one couple with 3 boys consumed more than their fair share of time and energy because one of the kids changed his mind on the cake pop ordered for him. His problem became everyone's problem.
Far be it he have to eat what he was given. Oh no. Dad had to make it his personal mission to go back and "exchange" it for what the kid wanted.
Seriously?! How does that even happen?!
Dad wasn't much better because he too acted like a child. All we heard from the time he and his family entered the shop was his incessant, unnecessary chatter.
That is only one example of the several families who acted like they had never experienced a public place before.
What's going on America?!
So --- all of that to say --- if I was a Starbucks staff member and had to deal with that --- I'd be off my game too.
I (think) I will be back --- (hopefully) this was just an isolated case of mediocre service...
Read moreI have stopped at this particular Starbucks several times since it has been open, and my visits have been mediocre. There would be times the baristas appeared as if they did not enjoy their jobs. However, I always received my order in a timely manner and the quality of my order was always great. At first, my original ideas and thoughts on the atmosphere was just mediocre. In contrast, my visit today, was the best experience I have ever had with Starbucks. Luke, the barista Serving me today was the sole reason my visit went so well. He was very knowledgeable about the current events within the company itself. He was super kind, yet professional. I felt he was a genuine person who truly enjoyed his job. Luke never hesitated in his responses to my questions pertaining the type of drinks Starbucks provides. He knew a lot about the organic food products Starbucks sells. I was very impressed with how well he knew the company and products sold. It made my experience worth every penny I spent! We had a great conversation and I enjoyed learning about Starbucks and the future changes Starbucks plans to undergo. I will certainly be back by and I Hope to see Luke! Starbucks should be proud and honored to have an amazing employee as himself. Everyone working today seemed to be in a great mood! My latte was perfect! Two thumbs up for this...
Read moreMy experience at THIS location was terrible. I walk in and not one person acknowledged me. Not even what seems to be a manager maybe she was helping someone and once done she went back to her computer. (Thought I didn’t see you.) Although everyone else AROUND me got taken care of, now it’s just me in the shop still no acknowledgement. (Mind I tell you I had on a bright red shirt and light jeans) I don’t know how you miss me. Unless you’re colorblind and even then you’re not completely blind you see a figure standing there. Then the disrespectful/unprofessional baristas who think they are better then anyone, they know who they are, trying their best to not have eye contact with me because they didn’t want to “deal” with me I guess (I was just picking up all they have to do was hand it and I’ll be on my way.) Nope they want to make it difficult by “trying” to ignore me. The stars that I gave this place are actually not for the whole shop it’s for 1 special person that actually went out their way to make me feel better. THANK YOU! I wish I could just rate that person. I wish you were working with more people like you. Well life goes on. I won’t be back again but Karma will. Bye! P.S treat people how you would want...
