Jade Express - Spartanburg — Restaurant in Spartanburg

I visited for the Christmas holiday from Pennsylvania with my family. We all ended up eating there. 8 of us. The food itself was delicious but by the end of the night 5 of us had diarrhea and my son had vomiting and diarrhea for the entire day on Christmas. We went on Christmas eve. Can we say food poisoning! 5 of us had the teriyaki and the ginger chicken with the fried rice and my son had the lo mein noodles for a side. The only two who didn't get sick was my two grandchildren who ate the orange chicken and white rice. Even my infant grandchild got sick.......we shared our food with him. I'm not here to troll this company but I am POSITIVE that we all got sick from eating there! Food safety is very important and lack there of can be deadly! I will never eat there again and I will continue to share my experience about this place. I don't care how booming you are, take the time to properly serve your customers. First in, first out. Dumping new food onto old food causes contamination and that's what you are serving up........contamination! Thank yall so much for the house full of vomiting and diarrhea...

I have nothing bad to say about the food as it is always delicious. That’s why I gave 5 stars. I usually have to order for delivery because I don’t get out much or often. The last time I ordered, I didn’t get the egg rolls I ordered. The same happened tonight. I always order 3 egg rolls with whatever I order. I also did not receive the sweet and sour sauce to go with my sweet and sour chicken. Luckily, I ordered some extra sauces on the side. But, sweet and sour chicken isn’t sweet and sour chicken without the sweet and sour sauce. Good was awesome as usual though and great portion sizes.

Side note: The to go containers from tonight had a very strong perfumy smell to them. Actually made my head hurt and I had to transfer the food to a different container....

when i walked up they told me that it would be 30 mins till they open because they were late and had a big order so i came back 30 mins later and they now change there ways and said it will be another hour till they open. then an hr goes by and they say 10 more mins its been past 10 mins now. now they say another 15🤦🏽‍♀️ when you know you have a big order and its going to take awhile don’t tell people to come back 30, or 10 mins later and still not serve them🤦🏽‍♀️ worse customer service ever the lady at the cash register is absolutely the rudest,...
