Typical DD, along with a Baskin-Robbins thrown in... WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CREW! These girls are the best I have ever come across - at ANY Dunkin' in ANY location (around MYR, in SC, even out of state!) that I have ever visited. Everyone - from the Manager to the newest hire - is PHENOMENAL! They are sweet, personable, efficient, and SPOT-ON when it comes to getting orders correct. Since I take advantage of the DD (App) "Perks," program and do most of my ordering via the Mobile Order feature. It's great - I just let them know that I am there, and pick up my (pre-paid) orders at the window. (I have even ordered and pre-paid and my boyfriend has stopped to pick it up, I just text him the order number!) Now that I am what I guess (!?!?!) is a "regular" at this location, they always have my orders ready lickity-split, most likely by the time I get to the pick-up window. It's not as much like visiting a "company" as it is like stopping to say hello to A FRIEND! They greet me by name, ask how my day is going (remembering all my ailments), see how my dogs are (usually hoping that I have them with me so they can say "HI" to them!), and have even corrected (well, ASKED ME about) my orders when I accidentally enter something that varies from my "norm," like my dairy of choice or how many sweeteners I would like in my beverage. Honestly, when it comes to Dunkin' in general, I can take it or leave it, but I have to say that I am VERY GLAD that we chose an apartment complex just a half-mile away from this DD location; no matter what time of day or night it is, or who is working, I can be guaranteed to be greeted with great, accurate service AND A SMILE! :D (If you are in the Carolina Forest Area, stop in and say HI; enjoy a beverage and maybe a "sample spoon" of ice cream! Or TWO samples... ;) You will see...
Read morenever had an issue with drinks here, they do a great job with them! however, i will say that the food is disgusting and i've had good food experiences at other Dunkin locations. just came by today and ordered an iced coffee and hash browns; the first round was pretty destroyed to a pulp and basically frozen, and the second round was cooked properly but so freezer burned i could smell it when i was handed the bag so naturally they were inedible. i had to spit them out. i hate leaving negative reviews, but i've lived here for so long that i remember this location being built and i've always felt underwhelmed. i should note this is not the fault of the underpaid baristas - whoever is managing this spot does not do a good job with cleanliness (saw a roach, not a palmetto bug, crawl across a table one day when i was standing inside waiting to order and i promptly turned around and left lol) or i'm guessing food ordering since things are so gross based off reviews, not great with training either which again is not the barista's fault. sucks because this location is so convenient but unfortunately you never know what you're gonna get, and most of the time (in my experience) you're heading to work so you don't have time to take your items back. if you stop by, just don't get food. to be frank, i hope the store manager gets some proper training or gets replaced because this place is so busy and in the perfect location, and the baristas are...
Read moreIt's Duklin Doughnuts. Chances are you've been to numerous shops and experienced a wide range of quality and service.
Over the last six months, my wife and I have gone to this outlet maybe three or four times. Each time we, waited on the drive-thru line. It was always crowded, but it moved reasonably quickly. Moreover, the people working the window SEEMED engaged. They definitely were personable.
However, the doughnuts were less than fresh. Their texture wasn't moist but was clearly drying out. I ordered two Boston Creams, possibly the top-selling doughnut Dukin has. The outside was crisp, not moist and fluffy. Moreover my coffee, ordered with three creams and no sugar was delivered black. This was the second time I got the wrong order.
I've discovered a secret about this Duncan. The donuts are great if you get them in the morning before 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. After that, the donuts tend to dry out and become less than fresh.
My suggestion... there are a lot of good doughnut shops around. I think Dublin charges a lot for their food. That being said, this seems to be a popular dunkin' donuts, especially in the morning. So my advice is that if you want doughnuts and get there before 10 or 11:00 by all means stop in or drive through. As to breakfast sandwiches, they seem to be made to order and are always fresh. Of course, your coffee is always good. One final thing, they have a Baskin-Robbins franchise in the...
