Fantastic authentic Mexican food.
My step mother is Mexican and that’s how I was introduced to the wonderful world of authentic Mexican food (as opposed to Americanized Mexican food or Tex-Mex). It’s comfort food with simple but incredibly delicious flavors.
This is one of the best Authentic restaurants in the country, and I really mean that. The owner does all of the cooking herself and I believe the waitress is her daughter. It’s a small restaurant and not fancy, but one of the best intimate dining experiences in Greenville. It’s great for a date or for a small group of friends. They don’t serve alcohol but let you bring your own beer and wine which is awesome. The menu is small and they do have the stuff you are used to like quesadillas, but the traditional dishes are my favorite. It was infused with pico di Gallo and extremely tasty. My main course was a Nacho Enchilada. It had a very exotic flavor that I really enjoyed. Mother/daughter team cooking and serving Gulf of Mexico style Mexican food. High quality; these ladies are on top of their game and this place was CLEAN.
