Henry's Northeast — Restaurant in South Carolina

Great atmosphere if you like eating in a place where the staff doesn't appear friendly or pleasant when you walk in and sit down. The lemon drop tasted foreign to the regular ones I get here. Definitely wont be wasting anymore money with this place. But the food was TRASH TRASH TRASH. Im sorry but who ever was cooking in the back definitely gave the business and customers some dirty work. My chicken was uncooked and had to return the mushrooms and lemon drop drink. The mushrooms were soft to the touch and nothing had any seasoning or taste. This was a substance only meal. I had the big T meal , order of hot wings, wing meal and the grilled chicken sandwich meal. No ones food had any taste and they flaked on us for not enjoying horrible food. I mean no harm to the business I know they can be better they just need to keep the cook who cooked today out the kitchen and the manager shouldn't bartend certain drinks. And the waiter acted irritated by our presence. I was disappointed due to the quality of all our food. If it had any taste to it then maybe it would have been a little better. But all of our chicken was under cooked and showed blood in the middle. A bar needs an experienced cook and bartender atleast. I ate half of my burger and i opened up one wing to see the uncooked center. I spent $80 and i only can stomach the fries. The burger was to big to have no taste whatsoever. I know what the issue could be. I asked for a medium burger big t. And they gave me medium chicken and a well done burger. Greatly disappointed. Myself my wife and daughter all have bubble...

Just walked out of the place. We sat outside at a janky table held together by a bunch of zip ties. We were given a wooden high chair that had almost every bolt loose which made it super unsafe for a kid to sit in, not to mention it was so sticky that I don't think it had been wiped down in years. One of the two glasses of water we ordered had some weird white things floating around in it.

Not a good start.

I then tried to order a shrimp philly but was told they were out of sauteed onions but had raw onions. We asked if they had a grill. The waitress said they did, so we asked if they could simply grill some up. She told us they normally don't because they're usually too busy to. At that time, we were one of only two tables occupied in the whole restaurant, so they were nowhere close to being busy. The waitress went back to the kitchen to ask them only to return and inform us the kitchen staff said it would take 30 minutes to grill onions "properly". I told her that was the lazy kitchen staff's way of discouraging us from ordering it because I saute onions at home often and it takes nowhere near 30 minutes.

With so many restaurant options in the area, we decided to leave and go somewhere cleaner that actually wanted our business.

The waitress was very nice, so that's one good thing I can say...

Service was fast and attentive.

We ordered Carolin cheese fries as an appetizer, and when we received them they looked good. But as we continued, we enjoyed them less they were soaked in melted cheese that had a very processed texture. And the fries were soggy. We ate about 25% of them and then asked the server to take them back. We told here we did not like them. Another server, possibly a manager, came out a few minutes later and apologized and asked if we would like anything else. We just asked for regular fries while we waited for our burger. They brought some out, and I realized that part of the problem with the cheese fries was that the fries are just not crisp fries. They are soft and a little soggy.

We received our burger, which was kind of tasty. The sweet potato fries with the burger were very good.

The server brought out the check. I was surprised that we had been charged for the Carolina fries, which were the pimento cheese fries, even though we had not eaten them. We only actually ate an order of regular fries, but we still have been charged $8 for the appetizer.
