I’ve worked low-tier food jobs many, many times. I understand the urge to get out at the end of the night. Trust me. I checked Google to make sure I was not coming in last minute. What I saw was that the establishment closed at 10 o’clock. Unfortunately, I was paying for two separate people, using two separate cards. I was told at the drive-through that multiple orders cannot be excepted unless you came inside. No problem. I came inside, knew what I wanted, and try to be quick. I was promptly told that they closed at 9 o’clock, and there’s a lot of cleaning left to do. The grill was turned off, and there are many options not available. Not complaining at all. These things happen. I apologize profusely, and try to be quick. The manager in the back, was very annoyed the customers were still coming in, and I overheard him yelling at the other staff to tell another drive-through customer that they do not except more than one order at drive-through. And all of my jobs, across all of the management I’ve ever been through or even witnessed, I have never seen a manager so very upset about customers not knowing a policy, and he truly always seem to care about getting out of the building. I get it. It’s a Monday. You have other places to go shout and be angry. Mostly likely home. But the anger towards customers and staff is VERY unwarranted. Bitterness does us all nothing in the end. I’ve eaten at this LJS for most of my 24 years. So, SO sad to see this is the current state...
Read moreThe food is terrible. Taste like the fryer oil was last changed in 2010. The food is much overpriced, and it took sooooo long (that's the "Long" in Long John Silver's 😂) to get the food. I could probably overlook all of that, but the truth is that this has been a staple for Long John Silver's for the past several years. I keep telling myself that I am never going back again, but inevitably I do. I guess that I am hoping that one day the skies will open, the rainbow will pop out, and Long John Silver's will finally figure out how to run a restaurant again. I know what Long John Silver's can be, as they used to be one of my favorite restaurants to frequent, but now,...... the fast food is slooow, the prices are ridiculous for the quantity of food which you receive, and the quality of the food brings shame upon fish worldwide. Honestly Long John Silver's, the best thing that you can do now is to simply close up shop, shut the doors, and go out of business while you still have a bit of...
Read moreHorrible horrible service and food! Requested my family size onion rings and fries to be cooked fresh, the onion rings were re-dropped in the grease, and burnt, the fries were hard and cold. The fish was soggy and obviously had been sitting for a very long time, and was not even edible. The hushpuppies were soaked with grease, and obviously re-dropped to appear fresh, but you could literally squeeze grease out of them. I ordered 2 crabcakes, they only rang up 1 and it was burnt and cold. The family green beans were even cold! I have a family of 4, and every single one of us was very dissatisfied, and couldn't even enjoy the meal we ate. I am a manager at a local restaurant, so I know quality, and apparently this location does not know quality. They seem to need alot of help management wise, if their manager could allow them to serve such old, cold, and disgusting food!!! I will never be back to...
