Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in South Carolina

My recent experience at Marcos was not terrible but not really what I expected. Me and my daughters were coming home from a softball trip Saturday night. I usually do all my ordering online but we were driving so decided to just call. I called and asked about specials for pickup and nothing sounded that good. A large pizza and cheesybread was a little over $27. Really high with no deal but it is what it is. We had to make 1 stop before picking up the pizza so when we stopped, I looked online at specials. Well they had a 1 large 1 topping, cheezybread and cinnabuns for $19.99. Wow, $7 cheaper and you get Cinna buns. Great. So I called to change my order. I was told it was online only and could not change in the system. Very odd in todays day and age with technology. So now I’m stuck with it. I could have cancelled and just went online, but I did not. I went in to pick the order up and was told ”I could not change and it could not be done in the system.” I even offered to n take the cheesy bread and just wanted the $19.99. I was told they couldn’t do that either. It could be me but I do think there was a better option than saying it could not be done. Considering right down the street is 2 medium with cheesy bread for $19.99. I have been a long time Marcos customer but don’t feel the need to be going back after this. There are too many pizza places in the area that are competitive. Just a shame in todays technology society , that my answer was ”It is online only and we can’t change that”. No option or yes let’s cancel it and can you do an order online? Nothing like that at all. I wouldn’t think that I was the 1st person to have this happen too? I don’t know, maybe but seriously doubt it. It’s too bad because My family and me really like Marcos pizza but oh well.

Follow up: They responded to my review with a link to a feedback survey to make it correct. So far , no response or anything from anyone. Way to go Marcos!

Typical response from a corporation. Sorry for your experience , take this survey and the manager will reach out to you. Marcos is a total joke. I like the food but would rather eat half ass food with good service...

We ordered a pizza, wings & soda last night (03/08/24) online at 7:22pm from this location. (15 minutes from our house) Got a confirmation saying estimated delivery time 7:52pm. At 8:15pm no food....I called and they said they were "short staffed" and "busy". I asked for an updated time and they couldn't give me one. I asked if my food would still be hot and the response from the girl was "It's sitting under a heat lamp." That gave me great confidence. NOT!!! We ended up getting the food at almost 9pm and it was all stone cold and tough as shoe leather as I had expected it would be after sitting under a heat lamp for an hour!!! NASTY!!! If they are that busy perhaps they should send some sort of notification that they are "understaffed & busy" and maybe give the option to cancel the order or get some sort of cold food discount. Being "understaffed" is starting to sound like a poor excuse and not a response I want to hear when I'm paying $50.00 for 1 pizza, 15 wings and a bottle of Mt. Dew. I will not order from Marco's again. I don't care for cold, dried up pizza and wings. There are plenty of other pizza...

So I just ordered a “Meat Lovers, jumbo” pizza…29.99. (Asked for half to be veggies) Mozzarella sticks coming to 12.00. Somehow my order was 60$. They. Ever added the 5$ off coupon. Not to mention they forgot the seasonings for the pizza. I called when my order got here. And the woman never found the manager for me. She tells me oh the brochure I have isn’t updated with its prices. MIND YOU, IM at the Anderson spa resort and THEY dropped off the brochure through the crack of my hotel door. So they charged me 40$+ for this regular large pie. Then had the nerve to not even do anything about it. They are frauds and I wouldn’t ever go here again. I advise anyone to check and do research now before ordering a simple pizza and mozzarella sticks. Oh and they gave you free garlic knots the size of prunes. This is what they sold me for 60$. I wasn’t even aware. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PLACE. My first time myrtle I should’ve listened to my Fiancé and got Pizza Hut or something. Smdh DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM...
