I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I was totally amazed at the treatment I just received at this so called establishment. I placed an order for lunch ... rather large order for delivery on their site... like always when we received our order it was wrong. Now I paid a delivery fee on THE PANERA website for them to deliver my food. Today the order was missing soup. I called the café and reached a ....person.... named Peyton. This was the rudest nasty person I have ever spoken to. He spoke over me was nasty rude and obviously was not a professional. Basically I was told that it was my problem and if I wanted the over priced soup that I PAID FOR AND PAID TO HAVE DELIVERED THAT I NEEDED TO COME AND GET IT. He then hung up on me ... not surprised from an obvious person of this class. I called back and he picked up the phone and hung up on me 4-5 times. I called customer service and was told in a nicer manner that this was my problem and again if I wanted the soup I could go pick it up. I then ask for the managers info and was told they have no Idea who that is. OMG what kind of company is this. I will make certain that this information is circulated through out the internet as people need to be aware of the type of companies that they support. We are a very large company and this was for a business meeting of executives and they were all in the room when this happened. I was glad to hear that they all wanted this review in an email so that we were able to send it to all 6 companies distribution list reaching thousands of individuals so that more people can be aware of exactly how important Panera thinks their customers are.... I am asking you to rethink spending your money at this company but especially not at this particular location because obviously they allow people like ... Peyton ... to represent them and you may or may not get the food you pay for and just because you pay a fee for delivery it is still your problem if you don't get your food....
   Read moreOver it. Will not be coming back. Especially to this location. Been here a dozen times. I used to love Panera Bread. Always had tasty sandwiches and some different drinks to choose from. However, way too expensive for pre-packaged FROZEN, PROCESSED food. Its fast food. Thereâs no reason why I should be paying $30 for two sandwiches. Itâs also very inconsistent as the same meal I get tastes different every time I get it. AND this location in specific, must have incompetent management because tell me why I sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes, an hour and a half before close. So itâs not like we came in right before close either, Iâm making that clear now. Waiting in the drive thru for 2 sandwiches and a piece of bread. Nobody came to the window to tell us what we were waiting on, what was taking so long, I had already paid $32 I wasnât about to just drive off. My boyfriend and I just sat at the window, waiting. Also let me add they told us they were not making smoothies and they âran outâ of flatbreads. The time before was about a month ago, same thing. Came here for a flatbread pizza and a sandwich. Came inside and waited at the tall table near the kitchen window for our food. Food took about 15 minutes to come out but my boyfriend had ordered a smoothie as well. Took about 10 minutes for me to finally flag someone down after we had already eaten all our food to ask where the smoothie was. Took an additional 10 minutes to make a green smoothie that we didnât care for because we were leaving at that point. We will not be coming back. I hate give off Karen vibes, I am always very respectful and kind to people in the service industry as I did it for a long time. Nevertheless, it is my right as a paying customer to leave a review for awareness of room for improvements.    Read moreI live in Lancaster County and I have been going to Panera Bread for years...where ever I go.The Indianland location across from SunCity has not bern open long.Today was my first experience, it was not good! Basically they have a very small location, even smaller than the one,I frequent in Ballantyne and a drive through and take out.I ordered my food at 12:58 and sat and waited a long time almost 20 minutes for a,1/2 soup and salad...what was disturbing was the fact that I asked for the bread to be toasted but at the cash register line, there was not a way to manually type that in like there is at every other Panera Bread location in state or out of state. SO, I figured while I was waiting I would ask if they could go back there and have them toast it...they did not cut it in half but toasted the entire baguette.At,any rate, the location seems,too small for the volume, they do not need a drive through and take ourt orders for here if they can not keep up with the in orders and in general the area behind the cash register was very unkempt, the floor etc...let's pray this location gets it together...or I will be driving right up the road to Ballantyne...I will try one other time no more.I wold say it's good for drive through only as that seems to be there focus moreso. ..but this location is,too small for drive through period...the people eating there are sufferring and the walk in take out.Lancaster County is the fastest growing county in SC why would they make such a tiny...
