Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in South Carolina

Don't bother. Unless you like rubbery cold pizzas and you like it when things are missing from your order. Oh an of course, if you like waiting until after 1am, that's key. It takes patience to wait on this glorious cardboard disk that resembles a pizza..

I put in an order through the app late on a rainy Monday night. I think I put the order in about 11:30. It was not a large order, but I tipped 40% on a $17 ticket since it was so bad out. Turns out the delivery time was nearly 90 min. Which is a little weird, considering they close an hour after I called. You'd think they would stop taking deliveries. But when you order online you only find that out after you place the order.

Order arrived just after 1:15. The pizza was barely warm, it was rubbery. And the two pizza sauces I ordered weren't in the there. Plus the delivery driver seemed lost and confused and just kept saying he was new there and didn't know stuff when I asked him about the sauce. He didn't even know where he was. Turns out they prepared the pizza after I placed the order, which means it sits on a heating rack or in delivery dude's car for an entire 90 MINUTES. So again-if you like your pizza old and NOT fresh, this is the pizza for you. If you like fresh pizza, maybe just try dominos or pizza hut for your late...

Every Papa John’s franchise is different, and you can always taste the difference when it comes to food preparation. I would definitely say that this Papa John’s stands out among the many I have been to across the United States and I have often ordered from in my own neighborhoods.

I believe that they follow the preparation directions here as they should, they have a drive-through window which I absolutely love!

I will say that the customer service as far as speediness could definitely be improved.

On the evening of December 30, 2020 for some odd reason Papa John’s was overflowing, we were 25th in the Car line and it took over 45 minutes to get our pizza but they were still hot & fresh!

I will say that I don’t care for the the wings, are often very gelatinous and fatty, and I could definitely use a little more fry time.

Next time this traffic dilemma happens, I think it would be wise for the manager on duty to implement a plan...

I literally went there to pick up a online order. Its raining 🌧 The front door is locked so I got soaked! No sign or display saying doors are locked after dark. I seen two cars out front so I figured the door was unlocked. I asked the kid in the driveway was that the managers corvette out front. He said yes. I said he should display a sign saying the doors are locked. The kid had absolutely no emotion or character like a zombie okay fine. Its okay. Give me my pizza. I drive one mile my house and open the box. The pizza is over cooked. The edges are dark brown. Its a small gluten free pizza. I'm not even taking it back because I have to be back at work in eight hours. Just for the record I have twenty two years in food service and management. The whole experience is unacceptable. I did tale pictures of the food and my ticket on the box so tread lighty. Nobody should go there until that staff is cleaned up including...
