As an advocate, the residents are suffering. This place has been in violation per SC Housing for more than 90 days and the notice of default has been extended pending inspection. Tenants are living with mold, bug & rodent infestation. Some residents do not have air conditioning in this SC heat. Yes, some have been given one air conditioning unit to cool upstairs and downstairs but it only cools one room.
Tenants are being evicted but there is little to no attention to maintenance issues. The staff is not accommodating to the tenants.
Boulder Creek was formally known as City Heights and though the name changed the conditions have remained the same if not worse. They are managed by Atlantic Housing Foundation that also owns Waters by Augusta (aka Piedmont Manor) and Spring Grove in Taylors. All three properties have similar conditions with some renovations being done in Waters by Augusta.
Bottom line, do what is right by the tenants and their children. People deserve a clean and safe place to live in Yeah, that Greenville! Before moving to any of Atlantic Housing properties, do your homework and google the properties and read the numerous articles that include pictures that have been written over the years.
8/10/23 Since writing this post which they deleted, I have tried reaching out to what they perceive as property management and Atlantic Housing Foundation but has received no response. Every time they delete my post, I will repost. I will upload pictures of this trashy, mold infested, no air conditioning in the summer, no heat in the winter, boarded up windows with residents living in them and leaks in the kitchen from the upstairs bathroom....place they call apartments. Poor or unable to pay does not mean you have to live like animals.
9/29/23 As promised, I am updating. AHF has sent a group of maintenance personnel to patch up the units. They have inspected and repaired 105 apartments in 3 days or so they say. When I questioned this team about the needs of a particular apartment, they told me they have already repaired it and the unit is still boarded up with tenants living there. Something has to be done before someone gets injured other than from...

I have videos of leaking problems I had bugs, then Porsche did an inspection on the apartment told me to send the pictures that I had since I moved in to their email I sent them in and when I moved out half of the pictures that I sent in they use them to make it seem like did it, I didn't do the walk through those were the pictures that they took they charged me $100 and something dollars to take out a coffee table and two end tables in a ottersman I had holes in the wall from maintenance that never fixed it I had leaks, when it rain outside it comes in from my front window from the wall or something like that it was bugs in there big spiders the doors weren't new the back blinds weren't new they came out of somebody else's apartment the bathroom sink kept leaking cause when they finally came to fix my bathroom they didn't fix my sink back right, the water in the tub it was black stuff coming out of it,the bedroom door and my son's room hinges was loose it fell off and they charging me for things that I knw I didn't do. Ok about the table set and ottersman but I'm not paying for something I didn't do Porsche wrong cause she did it before she left the property and because I didn't do a walk through I wish I did. These are the worst apartments I ever stayed in moving from GA a whole nother state. They need to do better than they gave me corporate's number and I've been leaving messages and still haven't got a response I believe it's the wrong number, I wouldn't recommend these apartments to...
Read moreIf I could rate 0 stars I would! I was in there hospital for 2 months and got my eviction notice when I was released home after also receiving physical, speech, and occupational therapy! Mind you these are income based apartments, I immediately renewed my lease and paid almost 845 for the first month, the property manager currently still there stated I owed 1200 more for December for regular rent I paid that and got another notice to eject so I moved and it’s very odd my money hasn’t ever been accounted for! Yes hud has been contacted and hopefully they can investigate the situation to see where this money went. The property manager also put I owed for damages yet there weren’t any she even stated she wasn’t charging me for any damages when she told me to pay the 1200.00! Also the very next day there was a Note stating spinx money orders were no longer accepted s as their system wouldn’t process them and the 1200.00 money orders I paid were all from bc spinx! Go figure! Atleast I live safely now in a very safe neighborhood the rent is worth it! Ugh horrible nasty, bedbug, roach, and...
