Peking Wok（Hardscrabble rd） — Restaurant in South Carolina

I am beyond disappointed with my recent experience at Peking Wok. I called in my order, only to find that it was completely wrong when I arrived to pick it up. Mistakes happen, and I understand that—but what followed was absolutely unacceptable.

When I returned to the restaurant to have my order corrected, I was met with nothing but rudeness and hostility from the very person who took my order in the first place. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake and fixing it, he repeatedly interrupted me, spoke to me with an attitude, and showed zero respect for a paying customer. To make matters worse, as I was leaving, he even used profanity, which is beyond unprofessional and downright disgusting behavior.

Basic customer service—let alone basic human decency—should not be too much to ask for. I was not looking for an argument, just the food I paid for. Instead, I was treated with outright disrespect and aggression. If this is how they handle their customers, I can only imagine how little care goes into their food.

I will never be returning, and I strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere unless they enjoy being mistreated. There are plenty of restaurants that will happily take your money without insulting you in...

Placed an order $42.71 for food with lemon pepper wings which was ordered and paid for. Only to find when I got home, plain wings!!! When I called back, after them first telling that they didn't make the mistake, the cook admitted that he did not fix the lemon pepper wings and it was him that actually made the mistake. I was then told I would have to drive back there (two trips) and they would shake some lemon pepper on the wings and that is the best that they could do! I reminded him that I would be 4 times driving, with me going to them then back from there, and the best they could treat a customer is that they would shake some lemon pepper on the wings! His reply was YES that is! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and accused me of just wanting those couple of dollars worth of wings free!!! The wasted gas would cost me what the wings would have cost plus my wasted time! So disgusted with poor and rude...

TERRIBLE! I stopped in on my way home from work around 12:30pm on March 12th 2020 to get the Sesame Chicken lunch special. The food was ready in about 3min. I drove 5min home to share it with my wife & the chicken was so hard. Sesame Chicken from anywhere is never that hard. We couldn't even eat it. It was like crunching on rocks. It was unbelievable that the manager served that order. I immediately called the restaurant & returned the food for a refund. This location is very convenient for Ridgeview High students so I guess they figured they could serve anything around that time because usually the students will just pick up their food & rush back to class.
