Dulce Losa Ice Cream Factory — Restaurant in Blythewood

Don’t walk run! This ice cream was sooo good. Today was my first day trying them and I’m instantly hooked. I had a little sweet tooth and heard there was a new ice cream shop in the area so I decided to give them a try and I’m so glad I did!

Let’s start with the shop is nice and clean. The customer service was excellent they were very friendly and although I came at a busy time they didn’t make me feel rushed and allowed me to sample several flavors.

My favorite was the carrot cake ice cream I like carrot cake but didn’t think I would like the ice cream but it was so good not overpowering. My second fav was the coconut pineapple ( it’s so creamy with pineapple pieces and coconut flakes not too sweet) as you see pictured on top of the orange creamsicle ice cream. There are lots of flavors to choose from and tons of toppings to add.

I’ll definitely be back with the kids to let them pick and choose their flavors and toppings can’t wait to see what they create!

3 stars were given because struggled wanting to give 4. I visited this flavor-full new ice cream shop on last Friday & again yesterday and Wow! I immediately liked it. I eat ice-cream almost daily in the Summer. The owner was there my 1st visit. My Dad and I bought our choices. I bought a small red velvet; delicious 😋. Then on yesterday I went back. I was actually headed to foodlion for ice-cream and stop at Dulce instead. When I was handed the medium size red velvet I notice 3neat, small meatball sized balls and knew the small I had last time was more ice-cream. I calmly stated this to the young lady who appeared nervous even while making my order. My happy expectation was now turned to disappointed because I felt I didn't get what I paid for in the increased size. I had a picture but no option to add it. Maybe the previous time the Owner served a heavy small but Dear Owners, it will be better not to increase expectations. Today I'm at foodlion buying my usual ice-cream to take home. Dulce Losa is picky kid approved ✅️ of course they have your standard ice cream flavors (even my favorite, Birthday Cake!), but I loved the vibe one of the owners and the few young ladies gave when we visited 7/11/25. Everyone is kind, respectful, and very patient and that is very much appreciated. Even if you go just for some ice cream, take a peak at the puns in the posters! I'm sure you'll find something here that you'll love and want to come back for. Personally, I live an hour away while my sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephews live about 15 minutes away.
