OK, so... I went here and sat down, ordered my food and then started reading the reviews. The reviews are bad. I got a little nervous after reading about so many bad experiences. Still, I looked at the restaurant objectively as if I had not read a single review. This is my observation. First, I ordered two medium pizzas with up to four toppings each, $6.99 each. Good deal. And cinnamon stix. When the pizzas arrived, they were perfectly accurate -- both of them, 100%. It was fresh, it was hot, it took about 17 or 18 minutes at most -- I timed it. I listened to the voices of the staff for as far as I could hear. Everything seemed completely normal. I can't say what's going on in the kitchen, I'm not in the kitchen. But I've worked at a lot of places that surprise you how much craziness is going on in the kitchen -- in fairness, I cannot say any of that is going on here or not -- I wasn't in the kitchen and I don't work there. The floors could have used a sweeping, for sure. It was about 6:30pm and they didn't seem to be experiencing a dinner "rush" but maybe the drive through was busier than I believed it to be, who knows. I did witness a staffer clean one table by dusting the crumbs from one hand into the other after some folks left -- did she come back and clean the table? Not while I was there but I don't know that she didn't. The people behind us were happy. The people diagonal to us were happy. I was happy. My kids were happy. Each person has their own experience and I can't say that alllll these bad reviews are not legit -- they may be. But my own experience, and I have no dog in the hunt other than to be honest about it, is that it was good. Would I eat there again? Sure. People were friendly, food was good, no more hiccups than any other service industry...
Read moreI ordered pizza the day before for an event to be delivered the next day at 4pm. I got a text from DoorDash at 12:50 saying my delivery was here. My pizza I had ordered came 3 hours early!
It was a pretty big order and I called them to try and get it fixed and was placed on hold. For over 20 minutes! I drove up there and they said their phones don’t ring. But they are the ones that put me on hold. I explained what happened and showed them my receipt and how it was to be delivered at 4:00 and that I can’t serve the pizza after it’s been sitting out for 3 hours.
They tried to say there was nothing they could do. That their system told them to make it and that their boss makes them make it regardless of the time. It seems that their system marks them poorly if they don’t pump the pizzas out once it gets sent from their system. They said I could come back tomorrow to speak to him, but that wouldn’t have helped me with the problem so they finally called the manager, Eddie, who wasn’t helpful at all when I told them what the pizza was for and why I needed it fixed that same day.
The ladies said they would remake them for me and I told them I would pick them up to make it easier. They got the pizzas done when I needed them and I really appreciated them doing that; however, leaving staff where they feel like that they can’t do anything to fix a problem and not giving them the support they need to do so is ridiculous. They shouldn’t have to feel like they can’t do something to fix the problem. There also seems to be a problem with the system and it’s setting them up for failure.
Overall, it just seems...
Read moreSo we got in, I ordered a personal pan veggie lover’s and my bf ordered a large pan pepperoni and a cheese bread. After about 15 minutes he recieved his cheese bread and I was informed they ran out of personal pans. I said “ok, I’ll have a medium pan veggie lover’s then.” Waitress left, about 20 mins later came back and told me they were out of pan crust. I said OK, HOW ABOUT A HAND TOSSED MEDIUM VEGGIE LOVER’S :). No reason to not be understanding. But then! A fight broke out in the back with the employees... (still hadnt gotten my veggie lover’s btw) There was screaming, yelling, and cursing, and my boyfriend and I kind of just listened in, not super bothered but more amused than anything. the perpetrator of the argument got more and more violent in his speech, and we got more and more uncomfortable. Things escalated, and he said he was going to his car to “get the strap.” At this point, he walks out and the employees lock him out, and my boyfriend and I (the only customers present) were effectively stuck inside this pizza hut with a possible gunman outside. He did end up driving away. The employees called the police, obviously shaken, and we just sat for a minute. The manager showed up and offered us nothing but a haphazard apology. I never got my veggie lover’s. My boyfriend paid for his pizza, no discount or anything like that offered. We left a little shaken, before the police showed up, and myself a little annoyed that my boyfriend had to pay for a pizza he only got to eat half of before we had to basically vacate the scene. We also hope the other...
