A little bit of a long review, but there was so much awful I had to document it all. If I could give it 0 stars I would!!
What an absolutely ridiculous experience we had at Texas Roadhouse in Harbison tonight for my sisters birthday. First off, we got there at 4:00pm, so we could get seating for our party of 8, which we already had 6 people present (the other being my grandparents in their late 70s) They absolutely would not seat us because not everyone was present.. even if there was 7 present, they wouldn’t seat because they don’t want people to sit at a table too long.. mind you, because it was my sisters birthday, our plan was to get drinks and appetizers and frankly.. spend a lot of money. Still no seating. So we had to wait for my grandparents to get to the restaurant, while we waited in the heat, while the table sat completely empty. Kiera, the manager had a terrible attitude from the start. Once everyone got there they finally sat us in a booth that they claim to seat 8. We are not terribly large humans, and there was NO WAY that all 8 of us were going to fit. We asked for a bar stool since it was a tall table and no way my grandpa could fit in the booth. Kiera once again came over with an attitude, at this point we are NOT HAPPY, and if it hadn’t been for my sisters birthday we would have left. She was extremely disrespectful to both my mom and grandma, speaking to us like we were children, explaining that this is an 8 top, so we could either sit or leave, embarrassing us like we were too big to sit at this table. which just put us over the edge. Finally a different manager brought us over a chair once my grandma mentioned that she was judging us for our weight. KIERA IS ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL MANAGERS I HAVE EVER SPOKE TO IN MY LIFE, (and I have worked in the customer service industry plenty enough to know!) She even whispered about us to the waitress right in front of us, and it showed from our service throughout the night. Didn’t even get a smile from the waitress.. We crammed in enough to eat, but the service wasn’t great, our waiter told us that she couldn’t put our food in all together so we only got half of our food at one point, and then later on the other half. She said they aren’t supposed to take parties of 8… but why would they have us wait then… and why would they have the 8 top the Kiera claims it is set up to be?! (And attached is the sign saying we could have a party of 8!!) The food was subpar, ribs over cooked, vegetables were hard (definitely not steamed), steak was extremely salty, and mostly fat, the bar drinks were wrong (and they were almost out of everything) and on top of it all the temperature in the building was extremely HOT!! (Even the waitress said she was sweating) I for one will NOT be going back to this restaurant ever again! So if you have 8 average size adults, don’t expect to eat comfortable at Texas Roadhouse, and if you have a party over 8 don’t plan on sitting together either because new corporate rules will NOT allow parties over 8 to sit together. And don’t even let them say they support and respect their Vets, since we have 3 veterans that served, and they were absolutely terrible to them!

Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience we've had with ANY Texas Roadhouse. As a frequent visitor to other locations, this was our first and LAST trip to Texas Roadhouse- Two Notch Rd. Columbia, SC!!
To start, the women's bathroom was a safety hazard, with an inch of water on the floor that we had to walk through to use the restroom. After waiting an hour to be seated, it took 15mins for our waitress to come greet us and take our drink order (never received rolls). It took 30mins for my husband to get a draft beer and multiple times asking. After placing our order we waited 45mins before THREE rolls were brought out to our table of 8! When we asked if we could have more, our waitress told us "we will have to wait". Tables that had been seated AFTER US, had their food out before ours was brought to us. With having four children at our table, we had to wait a total of 1hour and 20mins for our food to be brought out, which 1) WAS COLD and 2) My husband's meal was never brought out. Noone came over to check on us, refill our drinks, or offer a simple apology as to what was taking so long. When the waitress finally came back to our table to check on us, we told her his meal had never been brought to us and she said "oh my bad, they must not have made it". We waited another 20mins for them to bring out pulled pork- that he ordered 1hr and 40mins earlier, it was dry and they didn't tell him until after the fact that they were out of corn. When we asked to speak with a manager, the manager came to our table with a rude attitude. We explained our frustrations and she said " what would you like me to do about it" after we told her all we had been through. At that point my husband had enough with this restraunt and their TERRIBLE SERVICE! He told her take his food back and that he wasn't paying for his meal, we just wanted to leave. After a long, terrible experience with 4 crying kids, you would think the manager would be apologetic for everything and offer some kind of remorce, but no! The only thing she did was remove his pulled pork dinner off our check, which he never got to eat.

Read moreI am actually very upset. My friend and I got there and were checked in ready to be seated by 7:40. We waited for a little while to see the server but the 1st thing we noticed is that every time she came to ask us a question, she would only wait long enough to get our answer then walk off even before we were done talking. We were there for at least 1 hour before my friend's food came out and before that we only got bread after being there for about 30 minutes. I didn't even get my food and then she only asked if i just wanted to remove it from the bill and not get it. At no point were either of us asked if we needed anything else or if there was anything they could do for us. We got nothing! So when we finally got the bill after being there for 2 full hours, leaving at 9:50, I saw where they were still trying to charge me for a drink that I never even got. The server at that point acted surprised because she didn't know, just as she didn't know until we were ready to leave that i never got anything more than a roll and to add to the frustration, we didn't get any refills and in the order we had placed togo, they didn't even put the sauce onthe boneless wings or even on the side, i had to ask for the sauce too... I have been to this location several times and I have left a good review before but this is just horrendous. How can you even consider that disaster to be any kind of customer service? I believe this experience has topped the worst of the restaurant experiences I have ever had! To add to the entire waste of time, no one even tried to offer us anything for the obvious failures. This was a complete disaster and a total disappointment that truly falls on more than just the server.
update we did file the complaint on the website, with corporate, but no one responded to that just as no manager came to speak with us and no one really did their job that night when it came to us anyway. It kind of makes me question why people around us were treated as real customers and we were, at best,...
