POLICE HAD TO BE CALLED!! If I could give 0 stars I would!! Booked a NON SMOKING room. Arrived at the location and the manager FALGUNI D. says she have to give me a smoking room or $100 deposit for NON SMOKING. I then asked her to show me where in the policy does it state $100 deposit & also I booked a non smoking room so why try to give me a smoking room. She then says okay I’ll give the non smoking room at no charge. I enter the room it wrecks of smoke smell anyway!! It was dirty as hell! I will post a pic of the shirt my fiance used to wipe things down. He actually wasn’t going to complain and bought cleaning products. UNTIL, it was time to shower. The water pressure was low and the water was cold! I called front desk and made them aware and asked for a manager & Jidung (J Dave) says the manager isn’t available and wait until the morning but he will send maintenance. By the time maintenance comes to the door, the manager FALGUNI calls and says well you can get a refund. My fiance goes to the front desk and J Dave tells him no refund & exit in 15 mins. So now I have to go to front desk! FALGUNI calls the room before I’m heading to front desk with an attitude and says no refund you have been a problem since you checked in. I said because I’m paying as a consumer and want things corrected?! I head to front desk anyways & J Dave has an attitude. Tells me to sit down or he will call the police because he’s not giving a refund. I asked for corporate number , him and FALGUNI refused to give me corporate number. J Dave says you’re lying nobody has complained about water so no refund. I proceed to say call the police please or refund me or I’ll sit here until further notice. He refuses! I Google corporate number and start talking to a rep there. At this point NOW j dave call the police. Police arrived pretty quick! Maybe within 10 mins. By this time, J Dave tells police we are lying and he suddenly printed out a receipt that says refund given. The police told him to give us our proof of receipt & asked us what we want to do. I told him we are leaving as long as we have a refund. The police escorted us to the room and says yes I can tell tall clean I smell the bleach and he also seen the stained shirt and was appalled! He told us if we don’t receive a refund to go ahead and file a lawsuit because the company is out of order! In my opinion, this seems to be a thing that they do to people thinking that people won’t go above and beyond! They met the RIGHT one! I hate bad customer service! I will NEVER stay here again & suggest nobody do as well! Misleading, dirty, stink, no accountability, horrible customer service, rude, unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Part 2… since the manager (whomever that is) has responded… I have since then noticed another transaction of $104 for some odd reason. It’s currently pending. If this payment switches to posted… I guarantee this hotel will face a lawsuit because where and why was this charged to my account AFTER I paid what was initially due for my stay. Read moreTHIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED TRAVELING OVERNIGHT!! 😬🤢🤮🪳🪳🪳 I know this is long but I’d hate for anyone to have their trip ruined by choosing to stay here. We were here to attend my son’s graduation from Boot Camp at Fort Jackson which is one of the reasons we chose this location due to it being so close to the base. We arrived very late (like 1:45am) due to very long drive so we just wanted to check in & go to bed. We checked in, our room was on the 1st floor, immediately upon entering the room had a very bad smell, extremely noticeable, like a chemical smell, the bathroom was filthy, hair in tub & on the floor, bathroom door was so warped wouldn’t even close all the way, so we went right back to try to get a different room & was told we’d have to check in the morning after the manager gets in. So we had to be at Fort Jackson at 5am the next morning so had no choice, we just left most of our stuff in the car & just went right to sleep & would have to deal with this when we came back from family day that evening. So upon return we went to the desk & explained our arrival the night before & requested a clean room & cannot smell like last room or we will not be staying. The lady at the desk, had to contact her manager before we were able to get a different room. At first look around this room seemed much cleaner & did not have that chemical smell like the other room but the comforter noticeably dirty so I had to get a clean one but we ended up moving rooms. We had to be at Fort Jackson again at 5 AM the following day, so we get up at 4am. So I’m half asleep sitting on the edge of the bed at 4 am & I see this giant roach run across the floor so I yelled jumped up to grab a shoe to try to kill it & ended up slipping & fell it got away under the bed. Then my mom is standing there trying to finish getting ready in the mirror & screams I see another giant roach run up the wall next to her & I killed that one took picture which will be in the pics. So obviously we packed up & definitely not staying here one more night. Upon pushing mattress aside it was disgusting under the beds they are clearly not cleaned there was garbage, crumbs from food ect. This was the only part of our trip that I’d change is staying here, so if you’re going to graduation at Fort Jackson, or on the area & need a place to stay I definitely DO NOT ever recommend staying at this place!!!
