The Natural — Restaurant in South Carolina

Been a customer here since they opened. The server tonight was not good and incredibly unprofessional in her response and demeanor when unfortunetely there was a pubic hair underneath a section of my turkey club between a piece of turkey and tomato. When I notified the server she quickly dismissed me by saying I'm so sorry then abruptly walked away. She did not follow up with us by bringing manager or offer anything for the hair. I expected at a minimum that a manager would atleast come by to investigate. No...the server came back and essentially pretended like nothing happend that hair in food is now the norm. She asked we were ready for check. At that point I stated again there was a pubic hair in my sandwich and she just again basically igbnored it and said I will let our manger know. Then she threw my receipt at me bc she was evidently mad at the tip selection. Well she deserved what she got , further shows the lack of professionalism when you don't get a 20% tip so you give further attitude... Not like we were trying to get a free meal by claiming a hair they can check the cameras and we have spent thousands of dollars at this place between our bills and tips over the years. Imo get rid of the rude staff and dirty staff. We will make it a point to ask to not be in this servers section...

Sports bars aren’t my typical environment of choice because I don’t drink and I don’t watch sports. I do like watching people in new environments, though. I was craving a steak salad, and having recently moved back to Johns Island, I wanted to try somewhere new. I saw The Natural pop up in my search results and decided I’d give it a try.

The salad was fresh and delicious with crisp greens, juicy tomatoes, and hot yet tender steak. I wish I’d taken a photo then, but I ate it probably too quickly. I decided to drink one of their delta 9 seltzers and definitely felt its effects a little too long for my comfort. I was grateful that the waitress didn’t hurry me to leave once I finished my food.

Still feeling the effects heavily, I told the host I didn’t feel comfortable driving yet, so I moved to a bar hightop table. I was grateful that I could sit here until I felt sober enough to go home. I’m not sure how long I was there for, but definitely nearing 2-3 hours. It gave me a chance to capture my surroundings and observations. Thought I would share here since I took advantage of sitting somewhere...

A TOURIST'S OPINION!

Coming in from a long day on Folly Beach. I was greeted with a smile and seated promptly.

Melanie was my server. I ordered the Justin Queso burger with a soft drink. The burger was big and juicey and, of course, had cheese. This was white cheese, which means it melted extra soft. I could have opted for jalapenos on the burger but decided no. However, the ultimate part of this meal was the jam that they spread on it! It was spicey and sweet and blended nicely to give it that extra flare to push it over the top! I asked to sub onion rings for the fries and she did so with a smile, asked for ranch as my dipping sauce, which went down smooth. Such a pleasant server!!! I was fortunate and caught them on a half off burger day, so I only paid 8 for the plate!

Thank you for a memorable experience and for the enticement. Will be back for...
