Decided to go to this location over the Clemson one since this one normally got our order correct. A mistake it was and one I won't repeat again!
We had placed our order online ahead of time. The wait in the line was no problem I understand it gets hard to keep up after a while. Once we got up to the window we were never greeted and waited a few minutes for them to open the window and hand us our food (which is fine it's something that we've become accustomed too from this location). When they handed us our order we noticed they forgot 1 of our drinks and we waited for them to open the window to let the worker know about the missing drink. Instead of professionally working it out with us they decided to argue and get hostile towards us claiming their screen only showed 1 drink on our order. While we were trying to let them know that wasn't the case a woman walked over to help her coworker by getting in our face and barking at us saying my order didn't come with a drink. Then while still trying to inform them of their error the woman starts yelling for them to throw them a coke (we ordered a strawberry lemonade not a coke) and getting more and more hostile by the second. Next came the manager...which for some reason acted just as bad as the woman blatantly refusing to give us our drink we paid for. After the saw our mobile order receipt (since they refused to hand us a paper receipt) they got us the smallest size they could find and rudely put the lemonade in our hands and refused to acknowledge us any further.
I understand working fast food is stressful, under appreciated, and flat out awful to work but, there is no excuse to get extremely hostile with a customer over a simple drink issue. I will never return to this Wendy's again as the level of professionalism was absurd and...
Read moreThis isn't a one star because the burger i ordered would have been really good if it was made right. Wendy's has got their sauce down on that sauce burger. That being said, I don't know why it is so hard to take an order down at fast food restaurants. First off when I got up to the speaker nobody said anything for like a minute and half being realistic which doesn't sound like a lot of time but it's kinda awkward when you are like... hello? and noone says anything and there is a line beind you getting worse. When she did ask me what i wanted, I asked for a plain number 4 Sawesome burger plain no meal just the sandwhich (or whatever #4 is called) she said do you want it single double or triple. I said double. I also asked for a number 4 but with everything on it and in a meal. This was after asking if it was cheaper to get fries and just the sandwhich or if it is cheaper to get the fries in a meal amd just take the drink. She did not ask me if i wanted single double or triple on that. ( i was fine with whatever on that one) So I ended up recieving a plain burger but with no bacon (and it was a single when we asked for a double) with fries in a meal but with no drink. It was supposed to be just the sandwich. Neither sandwhich had bacon on it. I am typically really understanding about people getting these things wrong, But i'm really losing my patience with how about 1 out of 3 orders there they screw something up. I don't know why it is so yard to learn the menu or to just pay attention to what it is being ordered. I don't know if they are just terrible multitaskers or what. Read moreWent to Wendy's 9-30-2025 to eat dinner. Me and my husband went through the drive thru to place our order. They say "What can I make fresh for you". I stated that I wanted my food 'well done and fresh' after this statement. Then I added that I wanted my drinks fixed only after I get to the pick up window. Finally, backing up a bit, my husband asked for a grilled chicken deluxe sandwich. I then asked did they serve grilled chicken. They said yes. Got to the window received grilled chicken wrap, average french fries with some french fries raw ice cold out the bag, and one of my drinks already fixed. The manager on duty did her best to save the night and corrected everything the best she could have. She is a keeper to me. I just cannot get pass someone giving ice cold french fries with cooked french fries. I'm bothered because I actually was eating some of the french fries when I ran across an ice cold raw french fry. They were replaced but my mind set is not quite there yet with upgrading the review from the pass. On the good side the new french fries that came up were excellent (which I should have gotten from the beginning,) and my husband said the crispy fried chicken sandwich was good( they no longer serve the grilled chicken sandwich). The Wendy's single hamburger was just okay but would have been good if they made it well done and fresh like they stated and I asked for. 2 rating on food is due to the ice cold raw french fries mixed with cooked french fries. Everyone has a bad day but this Wendy's needs to improve. Maybe they have the right manager tonight that can do this if she catches the food before...
