Burger King — Restaurant in South Congaree

First of all I like to state is their tables are dirty and you have to ask them to clean them off or if they are clean, then they weren’t cleaned properly and still looked nasty. Second of all, me and my wife ordered the Steakhouse Whopper and paid for it and then found out after the order was placed that they didn’t even have it anymore and never bothered to let us know ahead of time all while we were waiting for our food. Third of all, my wife requested to get our money back if they didn’t have it and one of the ladies who had blonde hair mentioned with a attitude to my wife that we would have to talk to the manager about that and she went to talk to the manager herself and the manager said with a bit of a attitude herself that I could get something of the same value or less but they really didn’t have what I wanted that was of the same value and she finally did try to make me something with what they had to replace what they sold us that they didn’t have to begin with and I did happen to get a upset stomach from the food. I also happened to witness them as well not using any gloves while handling our fries and other food but did use gloves when making the burgers. They touched everything else along with making the fries with no gloves. They need to use gloves every single time they are touching food and change gloves when they are making different food for other people for it’s highly unsanitary and can cause cross contamination. The other Burger King is just as bad if not worse than this place. What’s happened to BK and where is the joy and dedication and as well as the smiles that used to be in place for BK for so long? BK as a whole has gone down the toilet and the food has become so nasty and so mediocre that it’s not even funny. They no longer have good food and the food are made by those who no longer cares and who also has a nasty attitude. Either fix this mess or the health dept will be contacted and corporate will also be contacted. I remember when BK had really good food and has earned 5 Stars over the years but it’s sad that it had to come to this to where I have to give them only one Star. This has been a 2nd time that their food has also made me sick with a upset stomach. The order was placed at 12:55pm today but was so highly disappointed. I doubt I’ll ever go back and BK needs a wake up call and their food needs to improve and they also need to see what other BK’s in other countries around the world are doing and bring those menu’s to the U.S. and do the same exact thing and expand the menu and then I may come back once the improvements...

let me edit* so tonight around 8:10 I went through the drive-thru . I had to run to foodlion to get some lunch meat (which is how I have to give my dog her meds) and I was like come on smores let's go get some chicken fries! anywaysss, the girl at the window her name is lamarria she is absolutely amazing ! we didn't conversate much, but we didn't need too! her smile was ALL I needed to see! I go to drive-thru every now and then. if I'm going somewhere that has one I am definitely going to use it. with my service dog with me in the car. but alot of times when I do go through one they are not happy at all! when I tell you she was ALL SMILES I MEAN IT!!! we didn't need to conversate for her smile alone to make an effect on me and a lasting impression! KEEP IT UP GIRL! I'll see you next time ! might come to burger King more often just because of her ! here's my edit response! *** i have since then had excellent service again by lamarria. but tonight I did have Becky and I was still doing drive through with my dog! but she was definitely trying to push the products like you want to make it a meal or a shake, neither of which i wanted lol but you were definitely offering to upsale! but I really do appreciate her customer service and she even hooked my service dog with some chicken nuggets which is so sweet 💕 and she absolutely enjoys 😍 thank yall both so much! (i had to do it like this because google wouldn't let me leave another...

NO STARS!! I am so turned off by this burger King it makes me not want to go to any burger King.

The employees was working in dirty t-shirts, they looked like they just got out of bed, I believe they were cooks.

The employees at the window on one occasion was an older man senior citizen age and had a horrible cough handing out food and making drinks. Another occasion was another senior citizen aged woman and she had no teeth. I remember this occasion because whoever marked the wrapper my burger was in really pushed down and the marker went through on my bun.

I tried not to focus on these issues but honestly speaking I couldn't get it out of my head and all three times my food was horrible. I might go back when staff looks better and cares aboutcustomers.

Please hire some better employees or retrain who you have. It's like your desperate and hiring homeless or whoever come in off the street.

I definitely DO NOT recommend this location on hwy 302 Edmond hwy to anyone!! They have work to do and if you need help training I am a great trainer. You don't have to look and act like where you come from even if it is off...
