Taqueria El Valle — Restaurant in South Congaree

I feel like I just got had by a preteen cashier! I ordered 2 tacos (no onions), a cheese quesadilla, and a Jarritos. The charge was $20. According to the online menu, this should have been $16. When I questioned this, she indicated online menu was not correct and gave me new prices that still totaled only $19. When I questioned that, she gave me a little smile and said they add a little extra in because sometimes people don't tip. I hope the tip she "built-in" was worth it, because I will not be coming back. People do not like to feel they are being cheated. There was also a ton of onions on my tacos! I tried to give this taco truck a change, but they’ve continue to disappoint after several orders. We’ve always ordered burritos 🌯, and they always came with almost no meat. To top it off, the meat they used was nothing but cartilage. My kids end up spitting it out because they say it’s all chewy.

Also, their salsas are nothing but water with no flavor.

They need to focus on quality versus trying to skimp on their food to make an extra profit. The quality of the food will always bring customers back.

I rather pay more for good food that I know I will enjoy.

This place is convenient, but I won’t go back until they start serving...
