Dunkin' — Restaurant in South Elgin

This Dunkin' Donuts is staffed by a very friendly morning crew. However, as the day carries on the quality of staff and the remaining staff's professionalism takes a sharp and drastic downturn. Twice I have had to pay with apple pay due to the stores inability to accept my cash or the stores inability to use a POS terminal. When I was told I was unable to use my preferred payment method I was met with entirely empty stares by the staff when I asked what my other available methods of payment were and ear grating vocal fry when I finally extracted a kindergarten level sentence from one of them. Perhaps it is wrong for me to assume that a group of mid 20 somethings working a dead end job would be able to problem solve, but alas.

Additionally, the women's restroom is strife with used pads and toilet paper. The women who use this restroom most frequently work at this location. Something to think about next time you watch one of them shake your coffee with a bare hand over...

Have been to this location many times and have never had an issue prior to today. I had asked for an iced coffee 1/2 decaf 1/2 regular. (As this is my normal order and have placed this order across the Illinois state.)

His response was, “Not Possible. Can not do that.”

I mentioned that I was confused as all others are able to do it.

His response was rude and no apology was made for the inability to accommodate.

In conclusion, it may, “ not possible,” for this facility to accommodate their customers ... but what is possible is that I will forever drive past this location and stop at the other local, friendlier and more accommodating...

Girl working there is like on another planet. I asked for a medium latte with extra shot of espresso, got frothed milk with barely any coffee taste. Asked for sugar on the side, had to ask for it when she handed me the coffee. Had to ask for stirrer. I wanted to get 2 dozen doughnuts, was trying to tell her what kind and how many, she wanted to first charge me without checking if they have enough, which they didn't.
