Five Guys — Restaurant in South Fayette Township

We were on our way to BJ's and wanted a quick lunch. There is this place and a burger and fries fit our mood. Having recently had a really bad experience at another fast food burger joint, we were a bit apprehensive, but our previous visit here was good, so we decided to take the plunge...

It was a good experience. Oh, the food is not gourmet. It's still what you expect, but the fries were really good and the meal was relatively quick, on a par with what we paid elsewhere, etc.

The location itself was sparkling clean! With the exception of one table, where two elderly ladies sat and each one of them peeled their peanuts and dumped the shells on the floor. This was obviously done very purposefully. As we were waiting for our order to be called, and then, as we ate, I saw several staff members look at this display and ... if looks could kill...

One of the things I really like about this chain, is that when you get the bacon on their sandwiches, it come crispy - not soggy. Another is that their fries are fresh cut. Finally, you can build your burger with whatever toppings suit your fancy, and even create a vegetarian sandwich if that's your mood! We enjoyed what we got and were satisfied that of the fast food burger joints, this is definitely amongst the best.

When the mood strikes for a greasy burger, good fries, maybe a milk shake, and peanuts in their shells while you wait, what can be better than five guys? I was in that state and satisfied my cravings during this visit.

The place is clean. The staff is friendly. The food is ... well... it's what you expect...

A little expensive for...

Before covid I wouldve said this restraunt is the American restraunt. Burgers, milk shakes and fries, whats better than that? Now I say its the world's restraunt, a place anyone can go and grab food that can be enjoyed in these stressful times. This store specifically has the cleanest interior I have ever seen in a burger joint, the workers all had masks, and the waiting lines would br perfect for social distancing if backup were to occur. Not only that, but the wait for food was extremely short, at least 10 minutes from original order of a burger meal, to me eventually picking it up, where the store had a small wait. You may not think thats short, but it really is. I give five guys 5 stars, there is simply no substitute for the good ol...

Every time without fail, this is one of the best burger places around. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the place is always clean within reason. The burgers seem like a lot until you realize that's the average cost for a freshly made burger, especially one that has unlimited free toppings! The burger is always juicy and flavorful, the cheese is always perfectly melted, and the toppings are always great (especially the sautéed options).
