I have been a huge fan of Dana's Bakery for the past couple of years, so much so that I recommended my company start using them for employee anniversary gifts each month. Initially, this led to a great business relationship, but over the past four months, things have gone drastically downhill.
Our entire list of July orders went missing, despite having paid for them. After discussing the issue with the owner, she assured me she would do everything in her power to rectify the situation and even promised to credit our account for one order that was significantly overdue and never delivered. Trusting that this was an honest mistake, I gave her another chance with our August order. However, some deliveries were made while others never reached my employees' homes.
I attempted to contact the owner multiple times via email, phone messages, and eventually Instagram messages, which was the only way I received a response. It seems there is a lack of concern and communication regarding our orders. To this day, July’s orders are still missing, with no tracking information provided despite repeated requests.
I emailed the owner earlier this week to express my disappointment, given our longstanding relationship, but received no response. We have spent thousands of dollars supporting her bakery, and it seems there is no regard for customer service. If you are considering starting a business relationship with Dana's Bakery, I highly recommend exercising caution. They may say what you want to hear, but the follow-through is lacking. If needed, I can provide copies of the emails exchanged.
I wish Dana's Bakery success, but if these issues persist, I am concerned it may all begin...
Read moreI ordered a Custom box, strawberry/champagne box, and a Fruity DIY kit. When I received my order, the exterior box was pretty messed up. When I opened it, the kit was not in the box. The packaging for the Macs were amazing. There was maybe one or two that were broken, likely due to the condition of the box. I contacted Dana's Bakery about the missing kit, just to see if they would replace it when it wasn't their fault. I send in pictures of the packaging and told them I was happy with the Macs, even though a few were broken. Honestly, they all get eaten the same, right? I just received my replacement package. Not only did it have my missing kit in it, but it also had the same two boxes that I had ordered in it, plus one kit! So they sent me my complete order again and an extra kit. Very generous I might add! How awesome is it to have a company that truly cares about their customers and stand behind their product and shipping. I will definitely be recommending my friends to order from Dana's Bakery and will place all orders for Macs through here as well....
Read moreA friend ordered a box of macarons in early July (2021) for my birthday. It arrived damaged. All the macarons looked like they had been thrown into water ... they were melted, crushed, and oozing out of the plastic packaging. Customer service sent him another box at no cost, but the second box arrived in the same condition: melted, crushed, oozing, disgusting and gross. We couldn't tell if water damaged it, or if gel from the ice pack had leaked into these macarons. In any case, we didn't feel safe eating anything from either box, so both boxes got thrown into the trash. Another reviewer expressed her "surprise" at the bad reviews. I'm just as surprised (and confused) because last August (2020), a different friend ordered macarons and mookie cookies for me on two separate occasions, and they all arrived in perfect condition. I'm surprised and confused as to how and why Dana's Bakery delivery service went from great to yuck ... throw it out! in such a short...
