I have always gone to Lakewood Panda Express. I happened to be around Puyallup after getting done with school so I decided to come over and ordered. My brother in law, who is a Panda GM in Vegas, told me they are coming out with this new shrimp flavor (he knows well I love shrimp so much) so he told me about trying it first through Tmobile tuesday promo. So I ordered.
My favorite has always been Walnut Shrimp and I was excited to try and change my mind to get the crisp shrimp next time again, not to mention this location is close to Pierce College and I just began my quarter so I could always come over for the crisp shrimp next time. But i just got home after putting the meal in the fridge for about 6 hours only to see its not what I asked. It is not the crispy shrimp at all. I was lowkey disappointed because they were not busy, only a lot of To gos and online order, packing and packing, ignoring me standing there for a solid 5 minutes. I understand about them being busy but they really cannot focus and concentrate on multitasking.
There is this thing called "Quality Assurance" and "Quality Checks". Conduct it every before you about to finish packing so customer receive what they order properly.
I know that order is only a mere freebies from tmobile and idk if you consider that as a loss for giving the shrimp away so you switch it to other menu. But for me it was merely a tester to my new palate for the next time I come and order. I could always get more shrimp menu by paying it myself. I just feel they were a bit petty over them might be thinking of giving me something else just to save profit. That bowl was 9 almost 10 dollars and I would easily spend 20-30 bucks alone every other day in Panda Lakewood.
Yep, next time Ill just go to Lakewood...
Read moreIt's a fast food restaurant so don't expect the best of the best. In regards to food and inequalities. I've come to this Panda Express a lot of times and I consistently get orange chicken for my kids. And in one scenario the orange chicken will be perfectly cooked enough sauce on there to add flavor but not be overwhelming. And then the next time I go the chicken will be overcooked to where it feels like. I'm just biting into chunks of burnt chicken. It's just super crunchy and not enjoyable to eat. So there are variables in the food. I've never had it undercooked so you shouldn't have to worry about that.
All that being said, service from the co-workers at Panda Express are phenomenal. They always have positive attitudes , treat customers well, and genuinely try to do their best to meet your needs. That being said, I gave service a three-star because every time I've gone, and this is most Panda expresses, they are usually out of something and if I'm going through a drive-thru the last thing I want to do is wait 10 minutes for something to cook to be able to get it. They're definitely some efficiency things that need to happen at Panda Express if they want to have their drive-thru operation more successful and...
Read moreBeen ordering from this location for almost 2 years through Uber. Tonight they gave the driver the wrong order. It wasn’t his fault, he gave the name to the restaurant and they gave him the wrong order. Called and spoke to a guy named Steve. He offered to hold it for us to come pick up. I asked him why would we pick it up? The reason we ordered through Uber was for the convenience of NOT having to come pick it up. Keep in mind they screwed it up, not the Uber driver. I called back and told him we were going to come pick it up. We didn’t make dinner due to trick or treating, so picking it up was still quicker than trying to cook at home. Steve told me that he couldn’t offer a credit because of the fact that we came and picked it up ourselves. But THEY DROPPED THE BALL, right?? Won’t be ordering from here again. Ever. Our names and address are in their customer history (I assume), yet they won’t throw us a bone for a one-off?? After all the times we have ordered from them? For years? And a one-off?? Shaking my head. One of the poorest examples of customer service I’ve ever seen. I would give this rating zero stars, but I can’t...
