Albie's Place — Restaurant in South Kingstown

The owner of this restaurant is not interested in the cleanliness of his business or any of his rental properties. I can't even imagine how disgusting the kitchen is in this place, I know the food that comes out of it is. He doesn't care if his rental property is full of mold while 5 children and a pregnant woman lives there. A mold remediation company wanted $10,000 to fix all the issues, but he refused to pay that. Instead he replaced $200 worth of insulation and sprayed the black mold with vinegar.

I would never eat at this restaurant again now that I know the owner on a personal level. He does not care about the safety of any of his customers or tenants. The authorities really need to get involved in this guy's life because he is actively putting people's health in jeopardy. I've contacted the health department multiple times and am just waiting...

Place is terrible! First time order from them and they screwed up my lunch. I ordered a cheeseburger melt but end up with a BLT instead. Next day, thought I'd give them a chance...wrong. I called almost an hour ahead to be deliver for 12 noon. By 12 noon, food no show. I called the place and the girl said they're busy and forgot my order. Then she said my order will "be there in 20 minutes." I asked to speak to her manager. After I explained what happened to the manager and he said the same thing. I told him their busyness had nothing to do with my order. The fact that I ordered almost an hour ahead and it's not like they're miles away that they can't get to me on campus is beyond me. I don't know, maybe just my luck. One thing for sure, I will NEVER order...

I ordered a cheeseburger melt combo. I gave very good instructions about coming in the side door, up stairs, on left.

The delivery driver shows up, calls, says "I'm here". I told him to come up the stairs. His response "I'll see what I can do. I give him the instructions again. He then knocks on my neighbors door, and then asks them to show him how to get in. The delivery driver appeared to not be ok to be honest.

All of this when I had to tip prior, he forgot my drink and had to go back and get it, and then, no napkins or straw.

Haven't tried the food yet, but the delivery driver was horrible. The girl on the phone was rather pleasant though. She even wrote the instructions on the box. The driver blamed it on her anyway...
