I don't even know where to begin. This place is AMAZING!!! We live in North Carolina, so unfortunately we can not become "regular customers" but I definitely would be if we lived closer. Full disclosure, I am a huge bachelor fan, so we drove several hours out of our intended route just so I could visit this place. It is owned and operated by a Bachelor couple, Jared and Ashley. At our first visit, Jared and Ashley were not there, but we had a wonderful hostess who went out of her way to call Jared and Ashley so I could chat with them over the phone. Dream Come true for this fan! This really stuck out in my mind, because she did not have to do this. I didn't ask her to do this. She just went above and beyond her job description and made my visit something I'll never forget. I wish I could remember her name, but I believe it was Ellie maybe? Anyways, if you read this Jared-she deserves a raise =) I ordered an iced peppermint mocha and it was delicious!! We decided to stay the night in Rhode Island, and went back to Audrey's for breakfast the next morning. We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese croissants. We also ordered a peppermint chocolate doughnut, a cinnamon roll, and a gingerbread muffin. Everything we had was amazing. I would recommend any of it. Ashley and Jared were actually in the lounge that morning and I got to chat with them for a long time and they were so Sweet and down to earth and I felt like I was talking to friends of mine =) I can not say enough nice things about this place. Bachelor fan or not, if you are ever in Rhode Island, you NEED to visit this place for all your coffee needs. You will NOT regret it. I wish I could give...
Read moreFirst experience here, and the place is quite charming and eclectic...
It was a bit loud at times due to various conversations between patrons, as well as baristas that all seem to echo off the floor and walls, but I guess it's to be expected based on the environment they're pushing...
They had a healthy mix of high tops and low tops as well as couches, chairs, and the few scattered end tables. There was a beautiful large gas fireplace in the center of the place with couches and a nice sized coffee table to finish off the area (that's where my wife and I sat 😉).
I built my own breakfast Wrap on whole wheat with eggs, amer chz, ham, bacon, and sausage. My wife opted for a special of the day, and between the two of us it was $20++ just for food. Throw in 2 coffee drinks and all the tax and tip and it made for a solid $30 brunch.... and if I had to say, it was worth it.
My meatstravaganza of a breakfast burrito was made to order and they actually delivered the food to our table at our couches by the fireplace!
It was a delicious, hearty, $10 burrito and I would get it again. My wife enjoyed her $10 special as well but not enough to try it again. There were also no additional sides, which is OK, but again - it's a $10 burrito, lol.
All in all, I'd go back. If you're in the area (anywhere in that whole plaza / commons), id recommend you stop in. There's plenty to look at, their coffee was yummy, and their selection was wide. If you have the time (and the money) I would give their food a try as...
Read moreStopped in here as a detour on a trip to Rhode Island from NYC. Like many other bachelor-franchise-watching people, I knew of this shop from casually stalking Ashley/Jared's lives on Instagram (it's weird we all know the name of their dogs, right?). Jared actually brought out my egg sandwich himself, but instead of asking for a pic (like many other bachelor-franchise-watching people) I "played it cool". By "played it cool" I specifically mean I avoided eye contact entirely and awkwardly grabbed the plated sandwich before it was placed down on the table, barely managing to say "thanks".Worth noting that it does seem like Ashley/Jared make an effort to interact with fans that drop in, so if you want that pic, you can get it (but I recommend producing full sentences and actually verbally requesting a photo for best results there). Since my bf had 0 understanding of who Ashley/Jared were or why we needed to drive 28.7 miles out of the way to grab coffees..... and since he had agreed to stop at Audrey's entirely out of obligatory boyfriend duty, he didn't have any expectations for food. Fortunately, this place can actually hold its own as a cafe. My bf was pleasantly surprised and commented on how great the breakfast was. Overall, my bf enjoyed the cafe (for non-fan reasons - great service/food/drink etc.) and I loved hearing my bf order "The Higgins" without realizing the (clever)...
