The potstickers were great! The edamame was overcooked and had lots of salt- I liked the salt but not the mushiness of the outlet layer of the pods. The chicken Basil spicy rice was out of this world delicious- super flavorful and spicy in the way that makes your mouth water. The chicken tasted like chicken not rubbery and it had great flavor- like it was cooked with the rice not just added on as an afterthought. I would order this dish again and again! The yellow curry with shrimp was delicious, however the eggplant was spoiled and not at all appetizing. The Mai Tai was sweet and refreshing. I’d order that again as well. The service was alright. The atmosphere overall inviting, lots of light and some eye catching decor.

My second newly found favorite Thai place. I was not a fan of Asian cuisine until a friend of mine took me to a Thai restaurant in NY. Ever since then, I always try to find the best Thai place. I found one in NY call Thai villa. Food was delicious my friend and I still talk about it till this day. It was over a year ago. Now while visiting my boyfriend in Rhode Island we stumbled upon this one and the food was delicious 🤤! Omg! I had the PIK-KING chicken & shrimp, he had Pad Thai, we also had the basil fried rice with beef. All were freshly delicious! The dessert was the Cherie on top! I had to unbutton my pants. 😂😂 I cannot wait for my next visit. 😁😁

one of the best thai food I’ve ever had!! ive been to Tong-D’s sister restaurant Heng a lot of times and South County definitely needs Tong-D here. Absolutely loved their tom yum chicken soup, that is definitely a must try! the pad-c-u with the crispy chicken was very well flavored. we also got the hot basil fried rice and I added pineapples to it, the basil was fresh and not overwhelming at all. everything was cooked to perfection. we got everything level 5 spiced and it was great!!

Food was, and always is amazing here. 10/10. But we were genuinely confused with how bad the service was.

The young girl behind the bar had an attitude that can be best described as a teenager being forced to do chores that she was wholly disinterested in. There was no greeting, no thank you, no smile or anything upbeat about her. She had zero urgency. We were handed menus when we first sat down (though nothing was said). But despite the fact that there were only three other people at the bar, and she had watched us close our menus and push them forward pretty quickly after receiving them, it somehow took 15 minutes for her to lumber back to us, make eye contact for the first time and speak her first words to us “do you want to order anything”.

I can only assume she strongly resents whoever is forcing her to work there. A truly...

So the good...Food was decent, about what you'd expect for a Thai restaurant in America, Pad Thai, Drunken noodles etc all standard fare. The bar service was good, we had a drink at the bar first before we sat down. So for the not so good ..This should have been a red flag, as on a Saturday night at 730pm the place was almost empty. We sat, food as explained service wasn't the greatest but wasn't terrible. Now for the part where we won't come back...The place closes at 930pm, but around 915, when we are still eating they got the vacuum out and were vacuuming the carpet, resetting all the silverware, clanking and then the piece de resistance, an alarm loudly blaring that went on and on and on. So to recap, food okay, service tolerable, atmosphere awful. Dine in at your own...
