NY Pizza of RI — Restaurant in South Kingstown

Ordered takeout and they told us it would be 20-25 minutes. We ordered two subs and a slice of cheese pizza. 25 minutes later, my husband went down to pick up our order, and when he walked in to girls behind the counter, we're just standing around and talking. They cashed him out, but they had not even started making our food when he arrived. 50 minutes later and while he sat there while they made the food, and they forgot half of the order that was placed. We live right down the road and when we got home the meatball sub was ice cold with barely any sauce, maybe maybe 2 meatballs and the cheese was not even melted. It was repulsive. I then opened my sub (an Italian) and it was just full of lettuce and no meat and also ice cold. Both subs were also on stale sesame seed roles and not sub rolls. This experience was so gross, unprofessional and honestly I will never give my business here again. Do yourself a favor and do not order any "subs or grinders". You can find better elsewhere. My first time getting here. Tried them because the other local pizza places have disappointed me multiple times. My first order was wrong. Wrong toppings when I got home to eat. I also think that the dough to cheese and sauce ratio was off. Not enough sauce or cheese. ( Thin Crust Style ) I also ordered the Deep Dish or maybe it was the Sicilian ( Square ). Seemed to be confusion on what it was. The Cheese/Sauce ratio was also off. More Dough than Toppings. The Sauce was tasty as well as the Cheese. I just wish there was more. In my opinion the Pizza is WAY Overpriced for what I received. I have been disappointed by other local places MULTIPLE times so I thought this might be different. When My first order gets made wrong It tells Me a lot. It's not that hard to take an order and make sure the right toppings are on the Pizza ! It's basic. Lol, let me first off start by saying the one ‘L. Conn’ a few reviews below me is clearly retarded. With her ‘CAPITAL LETTERS’ and ‘QUOTATIONS’ of the most obscure selection of words. Pizza is meant to be greasy especially ny style, if you don’t want grease don’t go to a ny style pizza place. Everyone else is giving 5 stars. Anyway, just had to get that out, I wish I could reply to her. This place was great. I have been hearing people talk about it and I work in the area. So I decided to pick up a few pies to bring to work so we could all try it. All the workers there were friendly and welcoming. Pizza was hot and accurate and very delicious.
