There are not many venues where I write about in an impromptu hotel room because of the results, but the Contemporary Theatre might be the first. The reason is because the Contemporary Theatre acts much like a black hole, there is such a strong force of gravity that it sucks you in.
And what a force it is. Before I get into the improvisational comedy festival that was organized, I heard about this place from a friend. It was the nexus of all things artistic in the South County.
It is the home of a week long improv festival called the Ocean State Improv Festival. It gives Rhode Island a magnificent name with the quality of the improv troupes playing. But, a person can see the truth...

There was no acting, no food of any significance, no nothing. The Kinny Gardens is a free admission. And that is all we got.
If you are asking for a flat out contribution, fine. Atempting to fraud people with a cheap 1 oz peanut butter and fluff tea sandwich is outrageous.
We got absolutely nothing for our money. As far as I'm concerned...
