I ordered special cookies for my daughter’s bridal shower. Half the cookies had wedding dress, decorations and half of the cookies were supposed to have tuxedo decorations. I confirmed the week of the event. When my husband wants to pick the order up half of the order All the frosting for the tuxedo cookies had melted so I had to be thrown out. We were never notified and when I called and asked why that was the case, she said, she never had my phone number on the order. Literally, I called to place the order, and I called the week to confirm the order, and I have ordered with them in the past. So why would t they have my number. I would have cancelled the whole thing if I’d known this had happened. The owner Said the humidity was high in the bakery the day before and that’s why the frosting melted. I’m confused by this because as a bakery owner you would think you should be prepared for something like this, and put items in a climate controlled environment. The effect of the cookie theme was completely ruined because 1/2 of the theme didn’t make it. It was a lot of mistakes made here from not controlling the environment in the bakery, to not contacting us, and quite frankly the whole order should have been comped. this could really ruin someone’s special day. What a cute little bakery!! 😍 I do not drink coffee but man did it smell good in there!!! I do however eat... I got a ham egg and cheese on a plain bagel. I also got a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun I don't even want to review for purely selfish reasons!! I don't want to show up and it ever not be there for me 🤪 zap it with some heat and mmm she is tasty as can be!!!! The bagel was so fluffy and cooked perfectly! Tasted so much fresher than something you could get from a chain coffee shop. They have some outdoor and indoor seating which is such a nice option this time of year. Someone was outside enjoying their breakfast and coffee with their dog! Staff was attentive and diligent. I do not recommend at all. My daughter’s birthday party is today, 12/30, at 5pm. I ordered a paw patrol themed cake on 12/3 to be ready by noon on 12/30. Kim and I were in contact since September of this year since we are coming from Florida. Kim ensured me everything would be all set. When my daughter’s father went to pick up the cake, it was not there. They said they gave our cake to someone who ordered a pie this morning and they were already in Boston with our daughter’s birthday cake. They told us they couldn’t make another cake and they could offer us a cheesecake or a cookie…..for my daughters 4th birthday party….I am not happy to say the least and will not be putting my trust in this bakery for future orders.
