Casa Latin Café — Restaurant in South Miami

I feel terrible leaving such a bad review but I know that they didn't feel bad handing my kids and myself old food. My 1yr old, 2yr old, and myself got food poisoning after sharing pupusas. The server was very distant. She never refilled my drink until she came by our table to pick up a plate we were still eating from that I was then able to ask for a refill. I asked for salad and picante and she brought me 3 different jars with no utensils to scoop with so what was I supposed to use? My personal fork? So other patrons also dig their personal forks in there? Very unhygienic. The server never came back to ask if we wanted anything else, not to refill, she made us wait 10min to pick up my card to swipe and my kids were anxious to leave....although we were the only guests in the restaurant. Cherry on top was paying a $50 bill for...

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ❤️ this place.

We stopped by mistake, decided to get in and honestly the best decision ever.

Food is amazing, all natural, all very tasteful, rich in flavors. We ordered two centroamerican breakfast and everything was delicious.

The attention of Ivon was A-plus. No complaints, she was sweet, attentive, on top of what we needed.

The ambiance was good, music was not loud so we could actually talk among each other. Which is different from all other places where the music is too loud that we can't talk.

Only observation is tortillas to be a bit less thick and the music a bit more...

Le prometí a Dinorah (una de las cocineras que escribiría en Español) El servicio es excelente, la comida con muy buen sazón, atmósfera familiar, empleadas muy amables y serviciales sobre todo Rocío quien llegando me dió la bienvenida con una cálida sonrisa. Los precios son muy aceptables. Y también la señora Ivonne estuvo pendiente de mi orden y de los demás clientes.
