I placed an order tonight 08/20/2022 which stated would be delivered in 35 to 40 minutes. As our time approached, the site updated stating our order would be delivered between 60 to 70 minutes. This was fine, figured with employee shortage it may be taking longer. Again the wait time increased so I decided to call in to see why it was taking so long for our order. The first time I called no one answered so I gave it a little time. A waited about 30 minutes and decided to call once again. This time an employee answered after 2 rings. He explained to me they had an overload of orders and only 3 staff total working. He told me we were next on for delivery and it would be 20 to 25 more minutes. I understood and thanked him for his time. The time past and it was an hour after speaking to the employee so I called back. The same employee answered again and he sound defeated, he was sad and apologetic. He was tired and frazzled. This time with a sigh in his voice he regretfully told me it would be another 35 minutes. I asked him if it would be easier for us to pick up the order in which he replied that it would. He continued to tell me how sorry he was and that he would refund us our money and that he will have the food ready to be picked up. I drove to the store and when I walked in there was only 2 employees. They looked tired as the phone was ringing and they were busy making food. The employee I spoke to on the phone approached the counter and asked what I would like to order. I informed him we just spoke and I was here to pick up. Not only did he refund my money but he upgraded our drinks to 2 liters. He was so kind yet so emotional and exhausted. I asked him what there day has been like and how many are there, he responded. Knowing his position and understanding I decided to give each employee 20 dollars to thank them for their efforts. They had been working as hard as they could and I felt for them. I hope others see their effort and they receive gratitude for the job they are doing. I know they get paid it's their job but with shortage of staff this store is truly struggling. Read moreI am writing this on behalf of my mother who was unfortunate enough to have typed out a long review, only for it to get deleted after she tried to save it. Hello. My mother decided to buy domino’s earlier this evening. We normally get Little Caesars because that is what we can afford; but, to fulfill some sort of point system my mother was on about, we got Domino’s as a rare treat. We got two pizzas in total: hawaiin with tomato and a hot wing chicken pizza(?). Anyways, when arriving back home from picking up the pizza’s, we bring the boxes inside, open them, and are disappointed. Firstly, the hot wing chicken pizza didn’t have any hot sauce on the top like advertised. Next, after taking a bite, it was patently that this was not the Dominos we remembered. The dough was unsatisfactory and dry. For the few occasions that my family and I have a treat like this, we hope for something to at least meet the requirements and name the company lives up to. If “what you do” is fail on completing orders and not making a decent pizza, then congratulations, you have achieved it. Now I’m not saying this as a generalization of all of your establishments, I’m just saying that if this new location isn’t trying it’s best when just barely coming out, what does that say about future buildings that are to be built? Read moreI've ordered delivery from this location twice recently. The first time when our order was an hour late we called and they said it would be there in 20 minutes. The delivery time kept getting pushed back until I finally drove to the store 10 minutes before they closed. They said the delivery driver had left early. I can understand staffing issues but was frustrated that they hadn't let us know. We were waiting for our food for almost 4 hours and we were never going to get it. We have them another chance a week ago and again our food didn't deliver on time. This time they wouldn't answer the phone at all. When it was an hour late we went to pick up the food ourselves. The phones were ringing off the hook and nobody would answer even though there were at least 4 people in the store. When we brought up that this was the second time this had happened to us we were told "Then why don't you stop ordering from here?!" I won't be ordering from this store ever again. I get that staffing isn't always easy but they have options. Their online delivery option should have been turned off if they couldn't meet the demand that night. They could have someone answering the phones and informing customers they needed to pickup or cancel orders. And if nothing else they could have responded without the attitude when we came in with a problem. I would highly suggest picking up your order from a different location if you want domino's.
