Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in South Ogden

Tonight was the worst & last time I will ever, ever order pizza from this place. When the guy first handed our order to us, we ordered 2 pizzas, 1 pasta & an order of wings. Opened the boxes to check out the food & usually this place does an excellent job but not tonight my friend. The box that should have had the wings in them, had an order of bread bites in its place. We told the guy that worked there there was mistake...he's like no, you ordered bread bites. I'm like no dude, here's my digital receipt. Finally decided to make the wings we paid for. Then we looked at our pizzas. We always order extra sauce on our pies. The pies were super super dry. The one pizza was supposed to be an XL Brooklyn style pizza. Looked like a small personal pie. Guy was like, nah that's an XL. I was like nah you need to make these over for us & please make them correctly. Sooooooooo, they decided to make the pizzas over. As the pizzas we're cooking in the oven, the one worker who was taking the pies & other food out the oven & boxing the food up, WIPED HER FRIGGIN NOSE WITH THE BACK OF HER HAND!! THEN RAN HER HANDS THOUGH HAIR REPEATEDLY AS SHE WAS WAITING FOR THE FOOD TO COME OUT!?! I STRAIGHT UP WATCHED EVERYTHING FROM MY CAR!! I was sooooo angry I actually told a worker who stepped outside that she best tell that person TO WASH THEIR FRIGGIN HANDS BEFORE SHE THINKS ABOUT TOUCHING OUR FOOD!!! I WAS DISGUSTED!! That person looked so embarrassed but also didn't seem to give a care in the world, went & washed her hands. We took the food home barely touched it. The wings weren't even cooked properly. I will never ever ever ever order from this location ever again. I will be calling the store tomorrow for a full refund & calling a district manager or try to find someone who is higher up the chain to inform them about this horrible & disgusting experience. It is with this latest of events that I share this review. Normally, I would chalk a bad experience off as a fluke. However, after multiple bad experiences creating a longer gap of time before I give yet another opportunity to this location, only to end up just as disappointed as before.

I feel that this location is a very popular one, which results in poor service due to the staff being so busy and overwhelmed as well as poor quality in food.

This latest disappointment came when I ordered carry out. After waiting for approximately 45 minutes, I asked how much longer my order would take. This came after I overheard an associate tell another associate to advise customers that it would be around 45 minutes for carry out and an hour and a half for delivery.

First off, you have to be dedicated and really want pizza to wait that long. Second off, after asking how long mine would be (having already waited the previously mentioned time frame for my carry out order) I was told there were still a few more orders before mine.

It hasn’t even been started. My pizza was not even a speckle of sauce on the uncooked dough yet. Are you kidding me? I’ve got places to be and things to do. I took my business elsewhere and will continue to do so from now on. That was the final straw for me.

And before I let you think this is just a one off, I assure you it is not. I’ve tried multiple times over the years and even after one particular incident where I called management, received compensation and tried again, I’ll give you one guess whose pizza was the ONLY one that got messed up.

If you guessed mine, you’d be entirely correct. I must have some major karma to only have my pizza messed up after ordering five or so pizzas for a big party when the staff knew this was an order made due to previously messed up orders.

But I digress, to all those who have had good experiences, please enjoy a bread bite for me. Those are tasty...

Normally I have decent luck with this location. The pizza is as expected for ordering chain delivery pizza. I would have given one str based on my experience tonight but because they usually are ok, I gave them an extra. Ordered a pizza today at 5:00 (actually it was a few minutes before) and my estimated delivery time was 45 minutes. No big deal. At 6:20 (do the math, 1 hour and 20 minutes later.....35 minutes late) I finally called and asked where my pizza was. I was told that they were short delivery drivers and it would be about another 30 minutes. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Finally at 7:30 (the original 30 minutes plus another 40 minutes later) I called again and they had every excuse in the book including promises for free food in my account on my next order but that I'd have to call and order and tell the employee that I should have free food in my account, to the fact that they have just hired a bunch of new employees who they are confident in. I told them to cancel the order. Ordered pizza through a local (eat local, right?) joint and physically went to pick it up. We had pizza in our bellies 20 minutes later. In the end, the pizza we ended up with was worth it but we really needed the convenience tonight and it just wasn't delivered. I'm a patient person and was ready to OVER TIP the driver because I knew it wasn't his/her fault. However, the overall experience put a sour taste in my mouth. I'm sure the employees are enjoying a pizza...
