The Corndog Company — Restaurant in South Ogden

The corndogs are slightly better quality than a frozen one you could buy at the store. They advertise fresh cut fries, but I ended up with frozen ore ida crinkle cut fries that anyone can buy from Sam's club and have had many times. It was apparent they ran out of some stuff, but if they can run to the store and pick up grocery store fries they should be able to pick up some fresh potatoes while they are there. The gentleman at the register was nice and friendly, but he was the only one running the store, so he was also the one that prepared the food. There are some food safety concerns and violations with this as the gentlemen did not wash his hands or put on gloves before going back and preparing my food after working the register. This is enough for me to not bother returning. I was excited at the prospect of a stationary corndog restaurant that you don't have to track down like a food truck. But unfortunately, my experience was average at best. Give it a try if you like corndogs, but at the price point there are better quality food options out there. It seems like this is a restaurant the ownership and management really do not prioritize, and leave their employees to do...

I don’t usually write reviews actually I have never wrote a review for a restaurant, but I felt the need to write one for this place. I am very open minded and will try anything once. sometimes I like it sometimes i don’t. Never been a big deal. But I felt the need to make sure that the world knows how utterly ridiculous this place is. I was charged $10 for a mini corn dog and for ONE baby bell piece of cheese deep fried. 5 dollars for a baby bell cheese deep fried in batter. I was hoping it was going to be the best corn dog I’ve ever had, NOPE! I can buy a box of frozen ones for 5 dollars and they taste the same. The frozen ones are BETTER Biggest rip off on the planet. How is this really a thing? is it a front? is it money laundering? who thought that this was a good idea? Literally just a corn dog . No specialty corn dogs. I am in utter shocked right now that this an actually place. How are you not losing money? Oh wait because you charge $$5 for a single piece of cheese. I feel so dumb for actually paying. Corndogs taste great! I would prefer a turkey option (not big on the 100% beef taste) but the batter is the best I've had! Fried pickle was a taste we didn't expect but it was yummy!
