Jamba — Restaurant in South Pasadena

Another Wednesday, and another attempt at finding a refreshing, rejuvenating juice-related beverage.

After touring my original hometown of Torrance, I decided to visit my second one— South Pasadena. Boy, was I glad to get out of traffic when we arrived!

On this bright and pleasant day, my friend and I were in sore need of a pick-me-up, so we headed straight to Jamba Juice. I’d been here many years ago, as a young boy, and my heart jumped for joy when we discovered it hadn’t moved!

I ordered the Açaí Super Antioxidant Smoothie, which I’d actually never had. It was a hit! Refreshing and delicious.

Personally not a huge fan of Jamba Juice drinks they all taste a little off. But during my visit it seemed the worst, I get that there were a lot of people and only 2 employees, i didnt mind the wait, but they were definitely rushing the blending. I had some chunks of everything, and was eating quite a lot of chunks of ice. Wasn't very pleased with that, I ordered a smoothie btw. Another thing compared to all other locations I've been to is that there is no indoor seating or at least stools. There are some outside, but no one is willing to...

Went in yesterday (x-mas Eve) around 230 PM. The guy taking are order was eating and had food all in his mouth. He was not helpful when asked a questioned about the contents of a juice (the ingredients were not listed on the board). His co- worker with the beard was equally unhelpful. At one point the bearded guy was washing dishes and said "wouldn't it be cool if the kitchen caught fire". I mean talk about not liking your job. Needless to say we will not be returning. Doubtful those dudes washed their hands before making...
