Visionarium Live Italian — Restaurant in South Pasadena

What a hidden gem!!! This little Italian restaurant has it all !!! Not too big, not too flashy. Instead it's warm, cozy and decorated almost like a personal residence. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly eager to please and add to your experience. Iris and Zeke were incredible. The atmosphere is neighborly and intimate. The energy quite obvious. The food is more than OK and the live music was nostalgic - Julian Shah- Taylor who performed incredibly well as the solo acoustic guitar - this time without his backup band - creating and bringing alive the unique 70s lyrics of the incredible David Bowie - Close your eyes and the voice is so.....there! Ziggy would have been proud ! Take look is not too far either. I had the pleasure of speaking to him....a great personality too!

Anyway, back to the restaurant - it's walls are tastefully covered by art/paintings of different artists for sale, Italian delicious gourmet foods, olive oil etc. to take back home..... upstairs, the loft has a his and a hers little boutiques, clothing imported directly from Italy. Purchased myself a great looking scarf. The roof top is where some events are held.....including movie night - the screen is the adjacent building brick wall painted white- how cute is that?

Anyway, we are heading back there tonight for the live Blues on the roof top!

I just hope they open up another such concept closer to to the West side - Santa Monica. Save us an hour drive.

Yeah, definitely a place...

Amazing experience here at this super cute spot! Heard about this place from and friend and it did not disappoint. A great addition to pasadena and the mission st restaurants. The decor, seating areas and art placement were thoughtful and well designed. Lounging areas on the couches or tables with lower ceiling providing a cozy home like feel. Every corner was well utilized in space. Have yet to try the entrees but the desserts and burrata cheese dish were super fresh and delicate. The staff was so welcoming and wonderful. Even gave me a free shirt when I spilled wine on myself accidentally! I think a roof top area is set to open and I can't wait. Hope to be a regular at this...

Wow, this place is absolutely fantastic! My family and I are so thrilled to have them in South Pasadena. Every visit is a treat – the service is top-notch, the wine selection is wonderful, and the food? Simply exceptional! We love it so much that we've chosen to celebrate my mom's special 50th birthday here and are even renting out the upstairs patio. It's the perfect spot! And for anyone looking to bring a little authentic Italian flavor into their own kitchen, they even have a fantastic shop with incredible ingredients. We're so grateful...
