Ordered pizza for delivery. It came over an hour. Not acceptable considering I’m 5 minutes away. Had to put pizza in oven to heat up.

What’s going on? Not enough personal to answer the phones and deliver product?

If another Italian Pizza restaurant opens in the neighborhood you will loose business because not enough people are answering phones and not enough people to deliver on time. I’m a regular and not happy with your service

Update: It has been several months since my last review. My pizza and Hot Dago were absolutely scrumptious tonight. Not one of many delivered meals do I have a complaint about. The food no matter what on the menu has always been top rated in my opinion. To my delivery drivers, I try to make sure those steps to the 3rd floor are safe during these winter months. Update: I can’t say how much I appreciate the response since my last review. It’s been over 30 orders for delivery and each time your delivery drivers arrive at the correct door. Also, the food is Amazing. It does not mater what you order. Thank you, Angelo’s.

Wow. Amazing once again. Love the food. Nothing to complain about the food. However, the delivery service is far from what it should be. Every time I call for delivery I leave specific instructions. Only because apartment building I am in is unique. So, after each order for delivery I express the exact staircase to ascend. But no, like some messed up cartoon the delivery drivers do not pay attention to the details. I accepted the delivery from the wrong door this time but no more in the future. You know who I am. I have called and politely expressed my concern. I will continue to order for delivery but if the instructions are not followed in the future, I will cancel the order and expect a full refund. Normally I do not do reviews but the icing on the cake was to receive a call from same manager I complained to telling me they have no record of the credit card payment. Then find the receipt after a minute into the call. No I did not tip the driver the $5.00 I had ready by the correct door. Because he came to the wrong door, No Tip.

Communication is very important, if your order taker does not relay delivery instructions then it’s all a waste of time.

Couldn’t believe the service I received at this restaurant when I visited town!! The staff was so lovely when I called and placed my order for delivery, was staying at a Oakdale hotel ordered the ravioli. It was delivered very quickly, but they forgot silverware 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️, unfortunately ordered right at close so was to late to call back and request they bring some back, so asked the hotel for some there’s were all locked away In the breakfast area (not sure why they wouldn’t have any available).Being without a car and dark I could not go find any away from hotel, I should have been provided with this! So long story short was not able to eat my dinner, went to bed hungry. Call the The guy that answered the phone was very rude about it so I asked to speak with a manager, a lady manager got on the phone and no wonder the guy was able to be rude because she was also. I ask her if it was able to be remade because I still had my aunt eaten ravioli and bread with me that I was half right back before getting on the road to have a new one made and she told me very rudely she did not know what I expected her to do I should’ve ate the ravioli with my hands off I was hungry.... WOW!! I was so shocked at what she said to me I asked her to repeat herself, she then repeated herself and said that if she was hungry enough she would’ve drunk it if need be. This is the most horrible customer service have experienced ! I was visited my mom in town and first time eating there and will be my last and will make sure my mom or her Church Family or Friends patronized this awful...

Angelo's is a family generational owned restaurant that has been a fixture in our state and the city of South St Paul for decades. This place is so clean with tables and booths for casual dining to special occasions in their event space. The food is spot on, traditional family recipe Italian. Their sauces have a pleasant multi layered flavor poured over large generous meatballs. The pasta is always cooked to perfection. They have the best Antipasto salads anywhere, and all of their salad dressings are made by hand in-house. The portions are perfect for one to have some left over to take home or enjoy with your friends and family at the table. Beverages are Pepsi products and the best brewed unsweetened ice tea in the cities. It's light, refreshing, and brewed perfectly with no bitterness at all. Our server was as original as the restaurant itself. Being the granddaughter of the original owner, she could share the history of this great little spot. She is so friendly, attentive, and able to banter without hesitation. All in all, if Angelo's isn't your current go-to for inside dining or take out, give them a try, and I'm sure you'll be adding them...
