I don't know how anyone can do less than 5 Stars for everything. I stumbled in here when they reopened. Now I stumble in almost daily. Not only is the coffee great, so is the service. I have tried multiple pastry items, and have only one complaint, the earlier the better. Choices and quality not gonna find better. Sure prices have gone up, I challenge you to find elsewhere you haven't. There is no free lunch. Prices have gone up everywhere, I buy bags of beans and they grind it for me. My favorite by far is the Ethiopian, Kenya second. My favorite is 1/2 house and 1/2 of the above mentioned with an extra shot. Muffins, are my go to. Although my favorite is no longer the other choices are excellent as well. Coffee Scones are well let's just say addictive to say the least. Even the Blackberry Lavendor GF scone is a great choice. Croissants are huge, I get the butter ones and take home to make breakfast sandwiches with. The people, very knowledgeable and friendly. Always fast to welcome, and know many of us by name and how we like our coffee. Don't forget to get a flavor shot, you won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf your wanting REAL COFFEE come to the Black Sheep! We Absolutely love the Black Sheep Coffee Shop! If we are over in the south St.Paul area my partner & I make sure to stop in & get one of the Best Cups of coffee! We normally get a iced Caramel Latte with a splash of white chocolate & a extra double shot of espresso! If your use to Starbucks coffee I don't recommend the double shot as Starbucks doesn't pour real shots. The Black Sheep actually pours real shots so getting extra could be too much caffeine for you! Their Painters Mocha Iced or warm is a MUST HAVE! Their in house made bars, sandwiches, Salads, biscuit & gravy ( only available on the weekend) are Amazing! Best 7 layer & lemon bars around! The staff are always pleasant & willing to help guide you to a choice that's right for your palette So don't be afraid to ask! Check the Black Sheep Coffee Shop out as soon as you can I promise you won't be...

The staff is very nice and will give you recommendations if you ask.
There was live music on the Saturday afternoon that I went. A customer told me this was normal. The lighting of the shop is not overly bright and itās not considered low-lighting either. The transition between floor materials is smooth so there should not be trip hazards. Lots of seating and it can be moved depending on party size or if you use a wheelchair. Thereās wooden booths, wooden chairs, and even a few plush chairs.
I was able to use a wall outlet for my laptop while I studied.
Edit: thereās also a...
