School House Deli — Restaurant in South San Francisco

I usually get all my sandwiches here after work. A lot of the times they usually have the deli closed by the time I get there. The lady usually opens it back up for me to make me my one sandwich, which is awesome customer service. I keep telling them it's not necessary but they tell me it's not a big deal and they make it for me anyway. Very friendly staff. I usually talk to the owner about philosophical type things and sometimes politics. My favorite thing to get here is the pesto pasta salad what you get at a discount for a half pint if you order a sandwich. I like to get the roast beef or the Italian. You can also find all your alcohol, cigarettes, and snacks here. There is also some scratcher machines and Lotto. There's two temporary parking slots in the front one on each corner. Love this place and the people that run it too. Always friendly to me and my kids and it has a variety of things. Delicious sandwich and rice bowls with grilled chicken and zucchini. 🤤 Recently, I've seen that they carry fruits and vegetables. Love this. I hope that in the near future, they would have meats and in my opinion, it would be THE perfect corner store in SSF. I sometimes need to travel to get my steak or chicken.
