Love supporting a new family owned business! WildFlour is a lovely little bakery, boards and taproom spot in South San Francisco. The space is bright and inviting and full of natural tones which brings a feeling a calm.
Iâm a self identified cheese fiend and was excited to try WildFlourâs charcuterie boards! My group shared the France and Farmstand boards. Each board came with different cheeses, meats, fruits, veggies and breads/crackers. The France board included a chicken liver plate which is not something you see every day and was a welcome addition to someone who likes to be adventurous when it comes to meats (and cheeses). The Farmstand board included quite possibly the best chèvre Iâve ever eaten and salted butter dipped radishes which were unexpected and beautiful. We also shared a few beer flights which were yummy and the chopped Italian sandwich which was spot on.
One of the unique things about WildFlour is that the majority of their items are sourced locally and/or made in house. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the space and food theyâre selling. The service was attentive and quick.
In addition to charcuterie boards WildFlour sells pastries and coffee. Iâm obsessed with the kouign-amann. Iâm not a big sweets person but I couldnât get enough. I also enjoyed the coffee cake muffin which was just delicious heated up.
Canât wait to go back on my next...

Wildflour in South San Francisco is a fantastic fusion of a bakery and taproom, offering incredible food, craft beers, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Their Hot Italian Sandwich is a must-tryâpacked with flavorful meats, melted cheese, and perfectly crusty house-baked bread. If youâre looking to share, the charcuterie board is an excellent choice, featuring a well-curated selection of cheeses, cured meats, and accompaniments.
On the sweeter side, the Wildflour Cookie is perfectionâcrispy on the edges, gooey in the center, and packed with rich chocolate. Their Danishes are equally delightful, with buttery, flaky layers and just the right touch of sweetness.
The rotating craft beer selection is another highlight, offering a great mix of local brews and unique picks that pair well with their menu.
Beyond the food and drinks, Wildflourâs cozy yet modern vibe makes it a great spot to grab a meal, relax with friends, or pick up something to-go. The friendly staff and high-quality offerings make every visit enjoyable.

Dropped by just to see if this place existed (see note below) and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they had opened about two months ago. I had already had breakfast when I stopped in, so limited myself to enjoying an americano and Sweet Coconut Butter Bun. All the pastries and breads for their sandwiches are baked by Wildflour and my small sampling has me looking forward to more.
I got the impression that this team had been thoughtful about the feeling they wanted their customers to experience and worked out how to make that happen. Small things that are really important. There was music, but not so loud that customers could not hear each other across the table. For dine-in eating, they have real (re-usable) mugs and plates. Tables were cleaned after customers left. Bike racks are available right in front and some out-door seating as well.
I look forward to seeing how this Wildflour blossoms.
Note: I had heard that a new cafe had opened near the Caltrain station, but neither Apple nor Google maps would find Wildflour when I searched for 'cafes' or 'coffee'. I only found it by searching for 'restaurants', which it...
