Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in South Strabane Township

I'm not someone that posts reviews often (or pretty much ever)...but when I saw the catering order that came to my office, I couldn't help but post. I looked at it and thought, how in THE WORLD is this going to feed 10 people?! So, I called into the catering group at Moe's. I was told that because I have 2 proteins they get split up for the amount given...they weigh it out to be 2 oz of meat per person (so 10 oz of chicken, 10 oz of beef). I asked on what planet is 2 oz of meat enough for a person? I was told that if I look on the back of a taco box they call for 1.5 oz per taco, so Moe's is actually giving extra. So I guess each person is supposed to only eat one tiny taco. This is an absolute joke and waste of money. I essentially paid $100 for 10 oz of beef and chicken (each)...I would have been better off buying 10 meals as opposed to a catering order for my office; it would have actually fed us and cost the same. Next time I will happily just make it myself, make it better, and for much less money than I was charged. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!

See the pictures for the meat for 10...the ground meat is hard to get a concept of because of the angle, but it was maybe 1/5 full. It looks like someone filled it, then emptied it out when they realized they actually gave me...

We frequent the Moe’s in South Strabane quite often but because of what happened today, will not return there. The General Manager Arron “(at least he said he was, And hopefully for Moe’s he wasn’t) basically asked my wife to not return. First he was working the food prep area and never asked her what she wanted in her Chicken Quesadilla and after folding it with virtually nothing in it, took and Attitude when she asked for sour cream ect. The other employee finished it for her. She them asked for Queso to go and he started to fill a little container. She said she needed a big container and needed 3 of them. She also ordered a big bag of chips and he stated that they were out of bags. She said how it that possible? And with that she asked if she could come back tomorrow for the chips and he told her she was not welcome there any longer. Guess what, no problem. If this guy is a General Manager, as he called himself, he was never trained properly and if he was, he needs a new profession or anger management lessons. I guarantee that this is not the first time this has happened. Shame on him and Shame on Moe’s for putting up with this kind of behavior. Oh and by the way the chicken on the Quesadilla was burnt, so...

I go to this particular location more than any other Moe’s locations. The service is typically good. It’s quick and the staff is nice. I usually get double meat because I like some extra protein. Maybe only twice (I go here 1-2x/week) I’ve gotten what I thought was too light on the meat. Usually the amount of food I get is adequate. The salsa bar is kept full most of the time. The amount of chips they give has become less, but Chipotle doesn’t give any chips, so it puts it into perspective. One gripe i do have is the tables aren’t kept very clean. On many occasions, I’ve gone up to 1-2 tables before finding one that is clean. On 2/10/24, 3 of the tables were dirty, and there was some kind of black flakes coming out of the machine with the ice. Others noticed it as well. I can’t speculate on what this was, but I steered clear of getting any ice. Regardless, it appears it needed cleaned. Overall, I like this location, but it does need to be supervised a little better as far as...
