Yummmm…
Red Robin is one of my favorite restaurants. Not only is the building such a trendy blast from the past, but they make amazing food! No matter if I’m getting a burger, a sandwich or salad, I am always leaving satisfied and happy after a day out with my husband or our family. Don’t get me started on their french fries! They keep all of the condiments that you need on the table, including the seasoning salt for your fries. They have very yummy dippers for your fries or your burgers. They also have a wonderful birthday club and we really enjoy going to this location often.
The restaurant has a throwback feel. I always love looking at the walls or above my head at the artwork and collages they have created. Make sure to check out the Pac-Man figures decor!
The only reason that I’m giving this review, a four-star is because I don’t believe that they employ enough servers. When you offer something unlimited such as their fries, there should be somebody checking in on you more often. I don’t know if they need to hire more actual servers so then they can be more attentive to their tables or if they need to have runners who go around and check on the requests for another helping.
The lobby has some really cool seating and balloons for the kids. There’s also some benches outside for overflow or if somebody just wants to get some fresh air while they’re waiting.
Great for lunch, dinner and dessert. Happy hour available. Bat onsite with great cocktails, beer and wine.
Overall:
Food: Amazing! Very tasty!
Service: Polite, but could be more attentive.
Atmosphere: Awesome!
Restrooms: Changing stations for babies. Could be checked in on a little more often simply because the restaurant tends to get very crowded.
Wheelchair, accessible entrance, parking, seating, and restrooms.

Read moreI have been in Red Robin locations in multiple states and this by far was the most unpleasant meal I have ever encountered at one of their locations. I ordered one of the special finest burgers which was topped with a melted Parmesan crisp. Two bites into the burger I ran into something which felt like I was biting into sand. I thought it might be some sand in the greens on the burger. I tried another bite and had the same awful sensation. So I then started to tear the burger apart to find whatever was in the burger.
The waitress didn't show back up for a good 15 minutes and when she finally did, she noticed my dissection of the sandwich. She at least asked what was wrong and I explained what had happened. I didn't ask for a manager or anything like that but she fetched one anyway. They proceeded to tell me that it was the Parmesan crisp which was a little crunchy. I politely disagreed as clearly Parmesan cheese melted on a flattop doesn't have the same consistency as ground glass or Emery grit. The manager stalked away muttering about how Parmesan was crunchy. Though I couldn't be certain, it looked like someone had scraped the grill and included all that debris in my burger. I don't know if that was accidental or intentional but it was foul regardless.
After paying for the meal (including $13.95 for two bites of a sandy sandwich) and leaving, I followed up with an email to Red Robin describing what had happened but never received any kind of acknowledgment or response. Not that I cared that much as I wouldn't eat...

I ordered the Scorpion Burger on two separate occasions:
1st time: Received wrong burger, brought to my waitress's attention, then had to prove why it was the wrong burger (no spice, no onion rings, and pickles and mayo were on it), ultimately comped
2nd time: Asked for well done and received medium (dark pink center) instead. I am not even sure why wellness is an option as burgers aren't steaks and have to be cooked well because outer and inner meat is mixed. Brought to manager's attention but ultimately just ate it as-is knowing the risks (was half tempted to go Gordon Ramsay on the place though!)
Service-wise they are good with refills once they actually start. TIP: you can actually ask to start your unlimited fries while you wait BEFORE they bring your burger to you!
As for the Scorpion Burger itself, it was a let down. It was not very spicy and the sauce reminded me of a high school cafeteria's buffalo sauce. I wanted diluted scorpion or at the very least habanero pepper heat levels.
But, hey, at least the fries were decent and came with free refills.
Anyway, I remember having a really good spicy burger with decent heat in the past but maybe I am mixing up restaurant chains.
At the moment it would seem heat lovers gotta find their spicy burgers...
