Ordered a split king adjustable bed at the store. Asked the salesman about warranty on bed and he told me that the parts are plug and play and that they don't have problems with the beds. We left the store and saw that the paperwork was completely wrong (wrong bed size and wrong address). We called the store, within 15 minutes of leaving it, and they was closed. I called back the next day. When I recieved the bed, half of the adjustable bed didn't work. The delivery guy moved the top up but it wouldn't go down. He pushed it down and walked away. I tested it and told him that it doesn't work. He told me that it was frozen from the weather and that the rails needed lube. I offeref to get lithium lube, he changed his mind and told me to call the store for a new bed. I called the store and the salesman asked me f I called the manufacturer. No, the bed came broke and should have never been delivered that way. They set up for delivery of a new bed in a couple days. When it came, the bed didn't work at all. The delivery guys tried to fix it without success. I called the store and informed them that I didn't want the bed and was told that they would call me back. The manager called back and said that they would test another bed at the warehouse and deiver a new bed that day. At this point , I didn't want the bedand stated that. She told me that she would talk to her boss and they would contact me the next day. The delivered the bed and I still didn't want it. The next day, the original saleman called me and offered me free pillows. I told him that I don't want the bed or they need to do better than free pillows. I told him that the practices there are not ethical and I don't want to do business with them. The following day, I recieve a call from customer service and he was ignorant. He told me that he informed the salesman to tell me to call the manufacturer before the salesman even knew about the first issue. I told him that I don't want the bed and he informed me that there is nothing I can do without an authorized return. My husband and I had thought for years that we'd like to buy a Sleep Number bed, but after laying on them in their South Hills showroom, speaking with their customer service and reading different reviews, we decided they weren't impressive or comfortable enough to be worth the price (nor to deal with potential maintenance issues with so many working parts). So, we were back to the drawing board.
We then visited 3 mattress stores in Washington, but felt the best about our interaction with Diane at Mattress Firm. She patiently listened to understand our needs and to answer all of my questions (and I admit I had a lot!). She then made good recommendations to help accommodate both me and my husband. If I had a question she didn't know the answer to, she was quick to look it up or call someone who knew. She was patient and personable and not pushy at all. We didn't buy that first day, but after discussing our options and doing a bit more research, we headed back to the store the next day to purchase. We received a discount on our mattress as well as a significant discount on a King sized adjustable base! I admit I had no plan or desire at all to buy an adjustable base, but my husband really wanted one and Diane helped me see that it could function like a platform bed (what I initially wanted) with ample storage space underneath!
The delivery was fast and easy and the gentlemen who delivered and set up our bed were friendly and professional.

Read moreI met with Kristen Groff and she was beyond helpful. It was the 3rd mattress store looking for a short queen for my camper. Selections were poor and I was disappointed with my reception at the other stores until I reached her and she explained my options. Others seemed to avoid my business because of the special order and request. Kristen did not. She began to show me the options, allowed me to feel the difference, reviewed pros and cons of brands and styles. We even went as far as to determine if I could get it before an upcoming camping trip which is a short time away. Then after all that and picking what I liked and on top of it all I needed to bring my wife back so Kristen did it all again the next day. She could not have been more pleasant, knowledgeable, personable, and kind. Needless to say we made the purchase and will be sleeping soundly on our new mattress in the camper shortly. I thank you for allowing me to offer my opinion and review. Because of this experience you will see us when we need new mattresses for our other 4 beds in our home.
