Donut King — Restaurant in Southaven

I can honestly say that these are the best donuts ever! And I’ve been to other donut shops in other states and this beats them all!! Not only does this shop open up extremely early (5am!), but their donuts are to die for! We’ve gone in there at different times in the morning and every time.. great service and donuts are still soft and delicious!! We’ve even tested them out and left some donuts in the box until the next day and it was still soft, like it was just made! They have a variety of donuts and breakfast sandwiches and breakfast sausage rolls among other things. As well as coffee, juice and a variety of other drinks. A little something for everyone! Absolutely love this place—it’s my go-to donut shop! I stop by almost every morning before work, and without fail, the donuts are always incredibly fresh and hot. You can literally taste how recently they’ve come out of the fryer—soft, warm, and just the right amount of sweetness. It’s become one of those small joys that kickstarts my day on a high note.

The coffee here deserves just as much praise. It’s rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed—honestly better than a lot of big-name coffee spots. Whether I’m in the mood for a simple black coffee or something a little more indulgent, they always get it right.

The staff are friendly and efficient, and even when it’s busy, the service is quick. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the food and the atmosphere.

I ordered a few donuts from here this morning. I’m slightly disappointed. I’ve been to other shops such as Krispy Kreme and Community donuts (my fav) but this place here did not give the taste I was looking for. Although they were baked fresh, it had a strange taste to it. I can’t quite put my finger on. You may tell by the pictures, the ones without bacon are original glazed, but they even look a bit off. The taste most definitely was not there. You may have a better experience than me, but as for me, I did not like them. And I loveeeeee Donuts! I did love the cute box and the tape put on them for my to-go order. Im not sure I’ll try this...
