I love Tropical Smoothie when it comes to my smoothies, fruit bowls and food items….but the ONLY time I received exceptional customer service skills was LAST YEAR when a young man of color took my order, he SPOKE when I came to the window and acknowledged me, which is the FIRST time someone has ever greeted me when I pull up (I’ve been there several times prior) and their customer service is HORRIBLE… the last time I went to TS… was my FINAL time…I felt as if I was treated unfairly…The OWNERS who are also the servers of the specific TS I GO TO are RUDE….my order has been wrong TWICE an it was an in app order where it can be modified SPECIFICALLY how you want it. Now the first time, they corrected it and told me to just come back the next day, the 2nd time however was not, and maybe it was because it was a face to face interaction…the associate tried to argue with me about my order and tell me what’s included and what’s not, then proceeds to tell me I have to pay extra for some I’ve ALREADY paid for, then they take the order back to “examine” 2 people surrounded the person who had my fruit bowl while she takes a fork to stir it around to see if they missed anything, now sees that my mangoes were in fact MISSING, they added the fruit and proceeds to give it back to the man at the window and the man just says it was inside at the bottom, which it wasn’t….i didn’t clown or act a fool, I told them I hope they didn’t think I would eat something they played in while I was looking, drove off and threw the order away….this could have been avoided if you would have just given me the fruit in a cup like I asked before….but it’s ok now I’ll tell the WHOLE truth…I was able to deal with the rudeness just by downloading the app and not having to speak to anyone…but now, until I speak with CORPORATE & ACTION is taken…I will continue to speak…them trying to give me an $8 coupon to shut me up won’t work especially when the bowl was $13….so I’ll be calling until I get the...

While eating an açaí fruit bowl I purchased from Store #795, Goodman Rd East located in Southaven, MS on April 20, 2025. I bit down on a sharp, purple plastic object embedded in the food. I immediately spit it out and discovered it was a thick piece of purple plastic from the store's plastic açaí container that they use to prep their açaí bowls with. A fact that was confirmed by staff members on-site.
Unfortunately, the object cracked my simi-decade tooth, resulting in a painful dental injury. I’ve since visited a dentist, who evaluated the damage and provided a quote for capping the tooth.
I reported the issue to the manager on duty, Ms. Richie Patel. When I requested to fill out an incident report form, I was told there was no such form and that she needed to "speak with her boss" before proceeding. This response felt unusual and gave the impression that the store may have been attempting to avoid formally recording the incident. It also gave me the impression that this franchise did not take the matter seriously! It's been 6 months, I haven't received feedback from the owner of the store via phone nor email. Read moreI have to share my love-hate relationship with Tropical Smoothie. For some reason, I am addicted to the Chicken Pesto. No Toyota substitute it for honey mustard. 😋 And I used to get the berry blast smoothie and add pineapples. It was okay, but the Island Punch smoothie was the bomb. Well, now it's gone, and they added the seasonal Mango Monsoon. You talking about delicious, it's soooo good. My love-hate relationship takes place when they start Penny punching me, and before I know it, I have spent $20 on Flatbread and smoothie. I know inflation has kicked in. But occasionally my order is tasted with extra cost for this and extra cost for that. And when they do that, I go away for an undetermined amount of time. It could be weeks, it could be months, and it could be years depending on how I'm made to feel. But the cRaZy thing is, I come back and it starts all over again. FYI, I have the app that intensifies your purchases, so be careful. Overall, I love my Tropical Smoothie love-hate relationship. I'll let you know when I'm not feeling it.
