Wings House — Restaurant in Southaven

So my manager had talked this place up and I decided to try it out. When I went in the first thing I saw was all of the workers just sitting in the kitchen just sitting down watching their phones and eating. It took a hot minute for one of them to finally acknowledge the fact that I was even standing at the counter. There was an older man in there before me and when he received his food the bag was completely covered in grease and there was liquid spewing out of the containers. He couldn’t even take it to his car and had to wait even longer to get his food back. The man who helped me with my food was a little too rude and didn’t seem like he wanted anything to do with anyone which I understand because food service isn’t always the best environment. I get my food and pay, because my manager talked it up so good I left a good tip like usual when I receive my orders. Once I got out to my car to actually look at my food, the fries were all but burnt completely through and the wings were just buttered plain wings which I didn’t order. I went back in to ask about it and the man said it was what I ordered which was the garlic but even after biting into one of the wings it tasted like they were just plain buttered wings and they were so dry I couldn’t even try to eat them. My first time visiting and I’m sorry to say I won’t be back. I ordered a Philly Combo, 5 piece wing and Mozzarella sticks. I paid $23.73 for my order and had to inquire if a drink came with my combo after receiving my food and heading for the door. Before pulling off I tried my fries they weren’t hot or crispy and I was only given a handful. Once getting home I taste my wings and they weren’t fried hard like I requested it also seemed as if they were tossed honey sauce then they poured hot sauce over them. My cheesesteak was warm the onions and green peppers weren’t cooked completely (absolutely crunchy). My mozzarella sticks were room temperature and the cheese was hard. I ordered “crispy” wings... I’m not sure if the cook understood that at all because my wings were soft and too juicy. Like it wasn’t cooked long enough or something. I couldn’t finish it all. I gave the rest to my mom and she said she is just eating it because she’s hungry not because it’s good. I’ve wasted $13. Their last cook was better. I don’t know who the owner hired this time. When someone says crispy, it means to leave the wings in a little longer than usual. And also, I rated this place one star because it was the only way I could write a review.
