Pulled in to the line at 6 to order and finally left at 6:40 pm. When you pull in to order, the drive-thru is surrounded by a concrete berm so once you are in the drive-thru line, you cannot change your mind and leave the line. I pulled in and there were probably about four cars in front of me, no big deal because I figured it would be fast. It was not fast at all. All. When I finally got to the speaker to place my order, the employee talked a little bit fast and did not enunciate properly so it was difficult to hear the questions she was asking me. The food was good, I can't complain about that. It was more like an old fashioned burger with pickles and all the fixings on it. When I got to the window I handed my $9 to the cashier and I told her "i have the 36 cents." I reached back into my car to get the 36 cents and she closed the window, put the money in the drawer and then opened the window back up about 2 minutes later to hand me my food. She didn't know that I hadn't paid the full amount. I handed her the 36 cents and she seemed confused but I then pulled off because I already had my food and, at that point, have already fully paid PLUS I've been on this property for 40 minutes! So, be sure to check your change because what if I had handed her $10? I still would not have had my change returned, which isn't much change but they're running a business, not a charity. I don't want to donate any extra change to any corporations. All in all, the food was good but the wait time was horrible and once you pull into the line, you are trapped unless you have a big truck and want to drive over the curbs and through the lawn and landscaping to get out. Also, I don't mind the "we charge for everything" sign, again, it's a business not a charity, they can't give out a bunch of extra stuff constantly to everyone who...
Read moreI have never seen anything like this foolishness. I go to this establishment to get a cup of ice cream. The price said $2.49 for a large cup. I get to the window my husband gives the cashier a $10.00 bill she hands him 2.97 back in change.
I said mam the price was $2.49 she states that's the wrong price the menu is wrong. I told her I didn't want the Ice Cream. She says the manager was not there so I couldn't get a refund. She then closed the window as if the conversation was over. Of course it was not.
I was not leaving that drive thru window w/o my money. After we sat there and held up the line she had the nerve to ask if we could move so that the next persons order would be hot.
I asked her name she said she couldn't give it out. I asked for the manager's number since she said it wasn't one on duty. I told her no shift is ran without a manager. She then stated the manager was running late. I said let me have the manager's number.
She gave me some number that no one answered. Its going to be along night because of course I wasn't going to move until the manager arrived. I then realized she didn't give me a receipt. I asked for my receipt. That also let me know they were probably trying to steal money. How many customers had this happened to?
I got out the car and took a picture of the sign that said large cup $2.49. FINALLY after holding up the drive thru she gave us the money back. This whole world has gone crazy. This is how things get out of hand. You tell a customer they can't get their money back when your establishment has the wrong price posted. You picked the wrong one to steal from. These people are actual Ice Cream gangsters. You take my money and close the window. Buyer Beware you could end up in jail trying to get Ice...
Read moreJust straight up GHETTO! Get better employees who actually want to work and are not there just for a check. I have visited this specific Dixie Queen multiple times, and I’m not sure why I even patronize this business after the way they treat PAYING customers. I just go back thinking things would be different, it’s been some months since I’ve visited but decided to try to give them another go. I’m ordering my first meal, and before I could even get to the next order, the guy says, “Pull around.” I said I’m not done ordering, and he goes to say “Mane” and smacks his lips as if he were irritated. Someone else ended up coming on the speaker, and I had to repeat my entire order. I literally didn’t do anything but try to order, and I was greeted with this type of rude behavior. I’m tired of giving this establishment a chance. It’s quality over quantity with all those rude workers in there, and nobody is in there with some real sense. Where are your managers who are allowing this? In fact, who is the owner? Because it is a shame that you have all these unprofessional people working under you, making your business look extremely bad! I won’t be back, and then my food was just thrown around in the bag and wasn’t even made correctly. Honestly, this was my last straw. You won’t get another dollar out of me! Rude, impatient, and rushes you to order when you still have to sit in line for 10 minutes plus to wait on food. 0/10...
