Breanna is a G. I come here once or twice a week. The experience? You walk into the Garden of Eden. Greeting you at the door are very presentable and professional young men and women taking you to a table or booth as quickly as they can and leave you with an instant “welcoming” feeling. When seated, some of the most beautiful/handsome waitresses and waiters come straight to you and get you started with one of their many drink selections and a delicious appetizer of your choosing. While you go to skim the large and quite beautiful menu, your waitress/waiter is already back with the cleanest and freshest drink you’ll ever taste. As you look back at the menu, their professionalism will kick-in with a knowledgeable suggestion for you based on their many satisfied previous customer’s selections. You’ll pick what they select bc their judgement is spot-on, but not before they let you know everything that meal entails and the joy your mouth is gonna feel once this meal hits your tastebuds. You’ll receive your food fast. When it gets there, the presentation will blow you away as the chef in the back took his time presenting the plate as if he was a final contestant on “Hells Kitchen” and you’re the judge. You’re gonna be so lost in the food that all your worries will disappear. You’re just in the moment tasting the delicious meal the chef has prepared for you. Once finished, your server will get the plate out of your way and give you the bill with the best hospitality you will receive anywhere. You look at the price and it’s not at all what you thought. How much do you spend at your local diner on dinner? More than this. So what will you do since you spent less than expected and got amazing hospitality? Tip your server everything in your wallet and leave knowing every day for the rest of your life, you have a 2nd home to go and eat for the rest of your life, telling your friends and family to come join. Be a part of the Applebees family and stop in...
Read moreI’m reading negative comments 1 1/2 year after my unpleasant dining experience; seems NOTHING’S changed. You keep saying “sorry” why aren’t you FIXING this OBVIOUS SITUATION (?) __ Unexplainable horrible service from the entire waitstaff, kitchen and management on duty September 1, 2022 Southgate Applebees around 1pm which was evident including the three tables surrounding mine. The waitress brought us the neighbors table salads which we clearly didn’t order, It took her an additional 6-10 minutes to redeliver the salads to the proper table; they knew we had their salads; I got up to address the mistake directly to the server. Another table, a young couple sent his ribs back as they hard as rocks & cold. His girl waited patiently for his new steak order to be prepared and served so they could eat together. They then asked for “TO GO” boxes & were told they didn’t have any. He had NO silverware to eat with which went back w/ his 1st order, he sat patiently trying to get her attention 3X while both their orders continued to get cold. My friend’s chicken Caesar salad $11.99 had a handful of lettuce absolutely DRENCHED in dressing; she addressed the salad debacle requesting it to be removed from bill. The server asked if she’d like one to take home (?) When I received the bill, they charged for BOTH salads. Waited and waited … decided to approach the server at the bar to resolve my bill. There appeared to be management this entire; she authorized the correction on my bill. I observed (she, her, they) standing around when she could have been getting food out of the kitchen to guests, asking guests how things were or what could she do to correct the OBVIOUS situation. I hope this review gets the attention of the “CEO”...
Read moreHeyy I took my daughter to Applebee's Grill + Bar tonight. She has a very small stomach she eats every 4-6hrs. They are never big meals. So she is still eating the size of a kids meal. Which is fine its her stomach and we work with it. Well we was meeting the youth group there bc that’s where they all go on Wednesdays. For those of you that know my daughter, my daughter she has sensory processing disorder and high functioning Autism and CAN NOT eat a lot of things that is offered at many restaurants. So we find resturants that has foods that she likes and can eat.
Well the manager decides to come up to our table and says to us we do not serve a kids meal to anyone over the age of 12 yrs old. I was embarassed for my daughter, bc she can not eat anything else in the restaurant. We try to do it discreetly and quietly. The manager wasnt discreet! She was very loud about it which in turn embarrassed my daughter and I. I in-turn immediately handed her the menu and said fine we will go somwhere else to eat. I stated that’s all she can eat.
Applebees, I understand you have a policy! However that is not serving your customers very well at all! There is many texture avoidant people out here in our community. People that have stomach surgeries and may need to order off the kids menu bc of what they can eat. Along with the elderly. At other resturants they allow all of these populations to order. DO BETTER! Why couldn’t you have given us an up charge or better yet put Mac n cheese what’s on the kids menu on the adult menu bc she can have an adult portion, my issue is she can’t eat anything else at your resturant! So we had to leave so she could go somewhere to be served something she could eat!! #dobetter #specialneeds...
