Dunkin' — Restaurant in Southgate

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS! They will scam you or shout at you and call you names when you don’t bring cash!!! The staff here are incredibly rude. Be careful if you use your card here and don’t have cash on you for a tip! They will SCREAM AT YOU when you go to pull away after asking them if you can tip on your card. They’ve yelled at me “You should leave a tip” or “don’t come back without a tip”. It’s not like I’m ordering a huge list of things. I order a basic coffee and always use my card. The last time I went there I went to use my card and he told me that there is a chip error. I asked him to insert my card instead of swiping it. He swiped it 3 more times than locking my card. I had no other fund to pay for the coffee other than my bank card and he said “You can go across the street to get cash”. I said no I can’t I have kids with me and it’s really cold. So I told him I wouldn’t be able to get the drinks then. I truly believe this was all over me not having cash and I was using the card(they want a tip). So I went to the competition coffee shop down the street, made my order and paid with THE SAME CARD! Went right through. The men that work there at night will leave you sitting there for 30 minutes with nobody in line but you. They are hanging out in there listening to music. I cannot believe that a business is ran this way and how awful the staff treat their customers. Do yourself a favor and go to the Wyandotte location Dunkin! You have to walk in but they are kind and treat people with respect! The owner simply doesn’t care as it’s all family that works at this location. I’ve also been charged double several times for one order!!! DO NOT USE THIS...

When I order my coffee I expect to get what I paid for have been to this place four times today and it would not make my coffee and then say it is what I ordered no they did not want to make the coffee because it's kind of specialized it's called a dark roast coffee. When you get this coffee you know what it tastes like you know how strong it is this has happened today Wednesday October 16th 3:00 a.m. same employee with a secondary employee Tuesday October 15th around 9:30 p.m. I will not be returning to this place I am not stupid other places have tried this with me and I go right back around and they remake the coffee I paid for like I said it's kind of a specialty drink I guess now the two other places close by me have no problem making my dark roast called a midnight. Oh yeah I forgot so far their prices are higher my midnight at the other two places near me in Dearborn Heights run 3.17 at this place almost $4 America does not run on Dunkin...

I've only used the drive thru portion of the business, not the inside, so can't give a totally fair rating (because I zip through the drive thru to simply grab a banana split from Baskin-Robbins). The staff are clean and polite, which is a 5 star, in my opinion. The banana splits are good, "except", they don't offer crushed pineapple (like once upon a time). Every now and then, I'll ask them: "refresh my memory, you don't offer crushed pineapple, do you?", (secretly hoping they'll surprise me and add it to the menu. Also, they don't seem to carry pistachio ice cream, either (😥). Regardless, I lovvvvve that drive thru Baskin-Robbins!!!
