I guess I can't give zero star rating so 1 star it is. This was the 2nd McDonald's that we drove to. Our 1st stop was on Fort St in Wyandotte and the young guy running register never even came to take our order. He had no idea what food went with what order or who ordered what. Complete mess. A guy from drive thru came in with his bag and receipt and clearly his order was wrong. We waited 5 mins and the cashier never came to take our order. We left and drove to this location on Eureka Rd in Southgate. Both locations owned by the same family. We went inside and came across another mess. We waited a few minutes before the girl came to take our order. She was very friendly. We ordered 2 bacon egg and cheese mcgriddles, 2 mcdoubles no onion, no pickle, 2 large fries, a hash brown and 2 cones. The guys in grill have zero sense of urgency and were cooking at snail speed. The place wasn't even that busy and they were pulling meat off the grill and walking back and fourth with it on their spatula looking for where to put it? Complete confusion on what needed to be made. We get home and of course the food was wrong!! Our kids burgers had onions on them and the mcgriddles had sausage, not bacon! I didn't waste the time calling and complaining because I wasn't confident they could even make it right!! Also they think people call and complain to get something for free. I want nothing for free. I just wanted my order to be accurate. McDonald's has spent the time and money remodeling their places and I will admit they look nice however they really need to spend a lot of time and money training their staff. Read moreI ordered my food at 11:02 AM arrived at McDonald’s at 11:17 AM. I was told my food was just received. That would be a couple minutes. When I did receive my food, it was wrong than what I ordered on the app. I said, excuse me, ma’am my food is wrong. She rolled her eyes at me because she was busy talking in the lobby to some boys. She told me I was being hostile and I need to calm down. I said ma’am I’m not being hostile can you please just fix my food? She told me if I ordered it wrong. There was nothing she could do about it rolled her eyes again and told me I was being hostile. I pulled the order up on my app and I shoulder and she came with a different receipt that didn’t even have my name on it And told me this is what I ordered. I said no ma’am here is my original receipt then she started saying I was being rude and hostile again I said ma’am, you were acting inappropriate to customers and if you don’t like your job, then you shouldn’t work at McDonald’s if you’re not a people person. Read moreI love my neighborhood McDonald's The staff there is really nice very upbeat first thing in the morning. I get breakfast almost every morning before work. The only thing I'm not satisfied with is my coffee. I ordered the same coffee everyday I either get it with extra cream or they forget to stir it or there's no sugar. Honestly guys I just wish I could get a good cup of coffee in the morning It really makes my day. Hope you guys work on slowing down and providing a little bit better detail service when it comes to preparing the food that we pay such a higher price for with inflation.
But to the morning staff you guys are awesome.
The photo below is a picture of my vanilla iced coffee. There was coffee on the bottom of it I had to wipe the cup down and it barely had any cream this time. Sometimes It has extra cream.
