We have been looking for a bagel place for years traveling from Pearland to Sugarland, Miss City, Galveston, etc. We finally got to Jeff’s and the first thing I thought when I walked in was how clean it was while looking like your typically NYC bagel shop. These bagels are phenomenal. And I travel the world for bagels! They are boiled, heavily seasoned, and cooked to perfection which everyone knows is a little crunch on the outside and fluff on the inside. Tried the rosemary salt (in my top 3 of all time), Asiago, funnel cake, cacio e Pepe. All were absolutely delicious, although I’m not typically a sweet bagel person. We tried the original, veggie and cannoli shmear. The vegetable cream cheese stuck out because it had full pieces of veggie in it so it really takes on the great flavors. Cannoli was obviously delicious and has mini chocolate chips in it. I could honestly just eat it with a spoon. Coffees both hot and iced were top notch. Usually bagel places don’t specialize in drinks as well but Jeff’s really does it all! Also, I read the reviews of the 1 stars and I had to laugh because even New Yorkers are putting their spreads in sides now instead of on the bagel. That would maybe dock a star off for a true fan but dropping to 1 star immediately is why people can’t take those reviews seriously. 1 star is designated for health issues that occur, dangerous location, horrible customer...
Read moreMy son mentioned his teacher loved this place and he's been wanting to try it for months, so we decided to try it today. I was super skeptical and a little disappointed because they don't toast their bagels so I wasn't expecting anything great. I was very wrong. These bagels are amazing! So soft, but with a perfect crunch on the outside. They have several flavors of bagels and cream cheese- I tried the everything and blueberry bagels and they were so flavorful and the 'everything' was not over salted which I loved. The banana nut latte was also a 10/10- perfectly flavored without being too sweet. I will definitely be coming back and I'm so glad I tried something in a different style than I typically would because I almost toasted them at home.
Another note on service- the employees were really nice. There was a conflict with another customer (I don't know the background so I won't speak to it or who was right/wrong) and the person taking the orders handled it really kindly and professionally which doesn't happen a lot in the food industry these days. Please note seating is super limited, but we did snag a table...
Read moreFirst time visiting and wish it was closer. For a starters, the environment was super friendly from the moment I walked in. I believe he maybe the owner that was fixing the smears spoke and was friendly. My favorite was the young guy taking orders with the braces. He was such a sweet heart and very helpful. I was happy to hear 1 is coming a little closer to the Spring area (Wllis) I think he said. I will be on the look out. BUT LET'S GET TO REASON FOR THE REVIEW!! The bagels are to die for. They were extremely fresh and some still hot when I arrived at 11am. I went with half a dozen and smear flight. The cookies and cream smear is heaven sent!! I also have NEVER had a fresher lox box 😋. The smoked salmon was sooo good. The original smear was sooo good. I ate it on a asiago everything bagel once I made it home (58 min drive) and it was so amazing I wanted to go back for another. I didn't try the coffee; it looked great and the lady couple ahead of me (also 1st timers) stated it was really yummy. I will definitely stop by anytime I am on that side of time. 10/10...
